I have to go to work today (teaching) can't concentrate on anything!I hate this. Has anyone had a bfp so late after transfer? Thanks xxx

Hi ladies I am currently in the dreaded 2 week wait. Back from Genesis. I was there with hubby for 5 days then he came home to look after the boys adn I stayed on for an extra week. Had 2 days contingency in my plan. Had 5 follicles, 4 eggs, 3 fertilised, all 3 were girls (microsort), 2 were choromosone anomalies and one was excellent. Until the day they put it back then it deteriorated...

I am cycling in Cyprus in May - decided to keep it! I alreadsy have half the meds and the rest is fed-exed tomorrow! Whoop! This way I can get a go again now (with all the money available) and then persuade hubby to have another go in USA when we get there, which may not be until late in the year and maybe do it on credit

DrPotter is $13500, including paying the anaesthetist plus meds (which they can't tell me how much but the other clinics have quoted approx 5000 for meds),plus precycle testing.

HI the egg retrieval for me was done under GA so not painful. I was quite moody on the drugs but am a moody cow anyway lol, and will be until I get my dd. The worst bit in my view was when they put the eggs back in as you have to have a really full bladder, then they fiddle about with your bits, with your legs in stirrups and you have to keep holding it in, then you have to hold the wee in f...

It's so hard. This is why I did not find out the sex of number 3 (who turned out to be another boy, a surprise pregnancy half way through ivf/pgd)) as I couldn't face knowing it wasn't a gir. Sending hugs xx

Was halfway throgh a second try with Savvas last year but was already pregnant so had to stop. Hi I am from UK. I did Northern Cyprus with Dogus. Horrendous experience, thought they would kill me! I DO NOT recommend them at all. Jane

Hi I am possibly relocating to So California later in the year and am thinking about postponing my pgd booked in Cyprus in May until we get there. But it is almost 3 times the price of Cyprus in California! Yikes.Does anyone know if any other places in the US are cheaper than California? I am quoted 20000-23000 dollars approx everything included in California (and is approx $12000 in Cyprus)...

HI because it is over double the cost in California, we would only have half the money ready and have to save loads before having another go. May not be possible for few years as the cost of actually moveng over to US and getting set up is huge. Time and eggs are not on my side are not on my side either. All my babies have slept thorugh early, the elder 2 did it from 8 weeks. I don't sleep tr...

Baby is doing well, he is now just over 3 months and sleeping 7-7 (with a dream feed) so cold not ask for anythign better. he is sweet natured and really cute so R...

Hi There is a good chance my family are moving to OC later in the year from
UK. I need to know the best value clinics that offer pgd there? I have
contacted one who want 20000 - 23000 dollars for one cycle. This is
almost 3 times what I paid in Europe!! I have a cycle planned in Cyprus
in May but with the language difference it might make sense to wait til
we get to US.B...

Well everyone is different and some like to prepare and plan and get used to the idea, but for me as my GD is so extreme and with all we went through to try and get a little girl I'd say it was the right decision for us. x

I am VERY glad I did not open the envelope.I got DH t tell me what the baby was rather than having the surgeon shout it out and must confess I did cry a little bit. DH immediately said we will have another one, bless him, this from the man who only wanted one, telling me it's ok to go for 4!Althoguth 4th c-section might not be advised I guess.DS2 was very a very spiky scrunched up stressed l...

I know a lot of you followed my 'envelope' post.baby was due 4th Dec, c-section was booked for 27th Nov but baby couldn't wait. I went into labout middle of monday night / tuesday morning. My chosen hospital was full and not admitting anyone, as was the next nearest, so ended up a bit further away and was told I was 2cm (contractions hurt like a bitch lol) but they gave me the section and baby was...

If someone could hand me a newborn then I'd happily keep going, but I really don't do pregnancy very well, and not sure how my body would cope. Also I will have had 3 c-sections and not sure how many is enough - plus it's such a long recovery, esp when you get a bit of depression due to the GD, that I'd prob stop.Having said that, baby no 3 is due in 5 weeks (don't know the sex) and they hav...

Thanks for all your support, I am grateful. I will post again with baby news, when it is all over. I am starting to have really negative dreams (and funnily enough so is dh), but am sure we will cope. I am quite tearful a lot of the time, pesky hormones no doubt, and am thinking about a final trip to my counsellor before baby comes. We are all ready - white things ready, and the nursery is ne...
