Did you tell people about doing ivf? just curious. I'd rather not say anything but a couple of people know that my husband has had a vasectomy and I'm not sure what to say.

For those of you that have 4 kids, how was the transition? Also, how do you feel financially with 4 kids? I'm wondering if everything will chance when we have another child like going out to eat, trips-do you have to get 2 hotel rooms, etc.

Congratulations! I have followed your story as well. We have 3 boys and my husband had a vasectomy 3 years ago. We go see the urologist on Tuesday as he has finally agreed. I have to go to a party 2 days before my egg retrieval. Will I look bloated in the stomach? How bloated will I look? Did you look pregnant or will it be okay?

What if I said he had some sperm frozen just in case before the vasectomy and we did an iui with that? Does that sound weird? I don't really want to go into specifics with people but I know I will get some questions. It's either that or a reversal? Which sounds better?

What do I tell people when I get pregnant? maybe 4 or 5 friends know that my husband has had a vasectomy. I really don't want to tell anyone that we are even doing ivf. Should I say that he had a reversal? Would people believe that? What do you think? I wish I had never opened my big mouth and told anybody but what do I do now?

I am 39. Should I be worried about my TSH level? The doctor said to take the medicine for a month and then he'll retest that. Has anyone else experienced this?

I got my bloodwork back today and will be cycling next month.
My FSH was 9.2, AMH 4.3 and TSH 5.7.
The doctor said my TSH level was high and would put me on thyroid medication. Has anyone else experienced this?
How are my numbers for FSH and AMH? any input would be appreciated.

I can't believe it is that much to adopt from Russia - I know that includes travel fees and all but there is no way that we can do that! Sigh!!

I think we are finally getting close to doing ivf/pgd for a girl. The only thing is that my husband had a vasectomy and would have to do some kind of sperm aspiration procedure. We haven't been to the urologist yet to get the details. Does anyone have experience with this?

So if I want to do IVF pgd with donor eggs, what is the cost? Does anybody know how much it would be? Can you do any kind of guarantee program?

I am struggling with this as well. My husband has finally agreed to adopt - he won't consider IVF at all. Now that he says he will adopt, I am getting cold feet. I already have 3 boys and I wonder if wanting a girl might be a passing thing. What if it is too much work. My house is already crazy. Will I have enough time for my boys with a 4th child?...
