I did fresh IVF at 28 = BFN and then did an FET at 28 = BFP

The OB I had with my first two didn't have an U/S machine in her office and she wouldn't let me go get one prior to 20 wks. It felt like I was the last to know. Everyone else had already found out and I was miserable. This time around my OB has a machine and she uses it at every visit so I've gotten to see so much more than I ever did in my other pregnancies.

My DS1 moved like crazy. The nurse could never keep the monitors on him during my nonstress tests ( I had them once a week from 26 wks b/c of preterm labor) and he is the most calm out of my two boys. "Mr. Personality" was much much calmer when I was pregnant. So, I guess you'll just have to wait and see!

I have said this a million times but I wasn't as lucky and didn't find this board until after I had started my first cycle. I wish so much that I would have found it prior I would have chosen a different clinic and done things somewhat differently. When I did my FET I was so much more prepared b/c I had the board to help and found so much info on here. So, I'm happy you have found this website and...

I had an almost 4 yr old and a almost 2 1/2 yr old when I did my ET & ER. My 2 yr old was already in a toddler bed. I had him crawl up into the car seat on his own and told him he was a big boy and he needed to do it on his own. I just didnt' pick him up and when he really wanted to be picked up. I'm probably not much help b/c I had preterm labor with my 1st and I had to go to appts weekly after the 26th week. I often dialated a cm in one week....but I wasn't supposed to!
I hope you get your wish. I had my kiddos at 37wks so I can imagine that you are more than ready at 39wks!!! Best of luck!

I only did 2 probe b/c I was told since I was 28 there was no need to do more. I wish I would have done research prior instead of just listening to my dr. I think I would have done more. I'm happy you will be more informed!

Sorry but I have been the most sick with this little girl. However, I was also very sick with DS1 and the least sick with DS2. I was convinced that DS2 had to be a girl b/c I wasn't hardly sick with him and I had felt terrible with DS1. Actually, DS1 and DD's pregnancies have been the most similar so I'm not sure that your sickness radar can for sure tell you!

I'll be 20 wks on Wed (today's Mon) but since both of my boys were born at 37 wks I've considered myself halfway at 18 1/2 wks.
I'm excited to have this milestone reached but I feel like I've accomplished so little on preparing for her arrival. We have to clean out her soon to be room and sell all the furniture in there, paint the room, buy bedding, buy furniture (I did buy a new crib!...

I'm so sorry that you have had to go through all of this. My DH and I considered adoption and almost started it instead of doing the FET. I just felt like I needed the guarantee of having a girl. Just a thought...not sure if that is something you would even consider.
I'm sorry that this hasn't worked for you. I pray that you will get your DD someday soon!

Congrats! I totally understand what you are saying. I am so much more fearful/worried with this pregnancy. I never even thought about miscarriage with the boys! I guess it is b/c we already have so much invested at that point and with the natural pregnancies I had barely even found out I was even pregnant.
