I had DD1 on Dec 31st and DD2 on Nov 27th. I don't really like either of those dates. lol. I like to do a half year birthday celebration...like take her out for ice cream and give her 1 gift so that she doesn't just get Christmas and birthday gifts all in one week. My other DD is only 6 months old so I don't have any advice on that one yet.Good luck!!

That's amazing news!!!I'm sure she got it right but just to share: I was told wrong at 18 weeks that I was having a girl due to lack of boy parts. She was "100% sure" and very experienced. Had a a boy! I'd double check. But that is sooooo exciting!!!

I also forgot to add that if men were as crazy and emotional as us women or if they gave a rats arse about what eachother thinks and were as catty as us then there would be a gender board of all men sitting around wasting time on the computer saying that they are longing for a boy or all boys to carry on the family name, play ball with them, etc This borad is so heavy with women wanting a gir...

As a mom to 2 or more of both genders, the answer to your question is a big fat NO. Girls are not better than boys ... and boys are not better than girls. They are just different from eachother.Both have amazing things about them but both also have not-so-nice things about them. I'm going to pop in on the defense of women who have mixed genders and why the heck do "they" even come...

My sis ter had triplets and there was some Huggies or Pampers sign up that she got on and was shipped free diapers and free formula for the first year....I'll ask her about it if you want.
