Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

UPDATE- My ovacue is saying that I'm still fertile, after a few days of not fertile, lol, because of today's vaginal reading. Yesterday was definitely a low. So that means I ovulated today? Or yesterday? I'm still not quite buying it, since no positive OPK.

Re: What opk to use? USA

Mine are not inexpensive, but the Clearblue Digi ones are awesome! You don't have to guess about the lines, you get a clear smiley face when you catch the surge. I did use the answer brand ones, which weren't bad. The only thing was I got a few lines that appeared positive earlier in my cycle, even though they weren't.

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

haha I mean why was my first peak on CD7 SO obviously a peak, and this next one is not as obvious? As in the numbers are lower and closer together than the first one. Does that make sense? Yep, this month I took 150mg of clomid days 3-7. I was only supposed to be on 100 mg, but I had 5 leftover and decided what the heck, lol.

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

:) Thanks! I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this. I'm still a bit confused why my peak earlier in the cycle was so defined, and the potential one on CD14 is so insignificant.

Re: Partner REALLY wants a boy

I think that to distinguish a difference with a 12 week ultrasound pic, it has to be a profile shot, because there just isn't much difference at that point. One picture looks girly and one picture looks boy to me, so I'm not sure. My husband really want a boy too, and we haven't even been able to get pregnant yet. I'm the opposite, and I really want a girl. I hope you get a little boy!

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

I had EWCM today, and I never get EWCM. (I use pre-seed to counteract). I still haven't gotten a positive OPK. Does it look like today, CD16 was a vaginal low? I don't think I've had any peaks since then, everything has been really steady. Unless of course CD14 was a peak, which is possible, which would put me O'ing around CD20, correct?

Re: Starting Clomid challenge test tonight...what can I expect?

I have no idea when I ovulated before clomid, I just don't think I did. On clomid, I always ovulated around CD20, which was 11 days after my last dose. Clomid can actually make ovulation happen later.

Re: Starting Clomid challenge test tonight...what can I expect?

I lost this thread! Gina- I haven't gotten pregnant on clomid before, I've never even managed to get an evap on a pregnancy test, lol. And I don't want to be a downer, but most of my symptoms occur right after I'm done with all the doses of clomid. :(

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

Thanks! I was trying to ignore the messages, but it was so obvious I really did experiance a peak. I'll just wait and see what happens with my numbers.

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

Double post because I'm confused again. I very obviously have a confirmed ovulation according to the ovacue. Ovulation was confirmed on CD11. This seems totally unbelievable to me, 9 days earlier?! Not to mention no positive OPK's. I can believe that I may have been off on ovulation on previous cycles, but I really don't think so. Plus, I wouldn't have had such long, regular cycles if I ovul...

Re: Starting Clomid challenge test tonight...what can I expect?

I have horrible mood swings on clomid, hot flashes, head-aches, and fatigue. My mood swings are HORRIBLE. Non-stop crying for a week, however I have a history of depression, and clomid can have that effect. I've never experienced bloating, but I did gain weight since I started it. It's really not THAT bad for everyone. There are a lot of people that have no symptoms at all. Good luck!

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

I don't take temps, because I used to wake up at random times. Now it wouldn't be an issue since I wake up at 6:30 every morning to do to do the ovacue. I do ovulation tests, which seem like they've always worked fairly well for me.

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

Thanks! Look like CD7 was definitely a peak, I got my lowest oral reading ever this morning. (I updated it in the first post).

18 May 2010 4:53 PM

Re: my numbers...

It looks to me like it was on CD7, but I'm not an expert yet by any means, lol. Are you temping or anything to correlate?

18 May 2010 2:52 AM

Re: Peak already? (Ovacue)

So if tomorrow morning I get another that was lower than CD7's reading, then I should consider CD7 my peak? I think I was getting confused partially because my Ovacue said I was possibly fertile, lol.

Re: 16 week boy shot... do you agree??

Definite boy!

Peak already? (Ovacue)

This is my first month using the ovacue. I KNOW that I don't ovulate until late in my cycle, at least normally and while on clomid. I usually ovulate around CD21 out of a 34 day cycle. The problem is that I'm taking 150mg of clomid this month, so I'm not sure if I'll ovulate earlier. I can't imagine it being as early as ovacue says. Here are my readings so far, I'm only on CD8 right now a...

That's so weird! Did you get it sorted out?

Re: I'm new!

Thanks! aww your kids are so cute!

Re: Ovacue Vaginal over 400 ?

Sometimes something happens and the reading is invalid. Anything over 400, either oral or vaginal, needs to be retaken and disregarded. The Ovacue will override the 400+ reading and replace it with the new one. Maybe I'm confused, did you say you got the over 400 thing twice in a row?

Thanks.

I'm new!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on the forum for a few days, and decided to join in! I'm 21, he's 26, we're trying to conceive our first. I'd love a little girl, but after 9 months of trying, 6 of it on clomid, I'm just praying for either! I actually just bought an Ovacue monitor, which is what led me to this forum, because of the amazing people on here that know so much about the ovacue. ...
