Thank you ladies so much for responding!! I actually made the big decision that, 100%, we will be doing IVF/PGD for a son. It happened when DH and I were out to dinner with DD and the waiter said, "I have two little girls at home... still waiting for that boy". It was like I was meant to hear that. DH and I always said we only wanted 2 children and I personally always wanted two sons, or a son ...

I have always dreamed of having a son. As much as I don't want to say... as soon as I found out that DD was a girl I started searching for a definate way to get a boy. DD is now 8 months and the most amazing little girl... however, I cannot stop thinking about trying to have a little boy. The cost for IVF/PGD is very expensive!! I just wanted to know if you ladies felt that...

Sorry.. I just read this post. I am thinking about going to HIF next year since it is so close (I live in San Antonio). I was just wondering about how much it ended up costing for the IVF/PGD with medication. Any help would be greatly appreciated =]

I am going to try one last time. If not what I was wondering about was if the area under "I'm" in "I'm 85% girl" is the girly part or the area where there appears to be three lines is the girly part. Thanks!

Thank you for all of your responses!! I was just wondering what makes the baby look so girly? I drew a blue arrow to the area of the picture where the ultrasound tech said that she saw some lines. I was just wondering what is the green arrow pointing to? If anything, this area looks more girly to my untrained eyes. Thanks again!!!!!

Here is another picture from my ultrasound yesterday. I'm not sure if this is any more helpful. O, and by the way, the picture says "I'm 85% Girl"

I just had an elective ultrasound yesterday to try and determine the gender. The baby had his/her legs crossed the whole time, so the tech was hesitant to guess. However, by the end she said 85% girl. This picture is one where she tried to capture the gender. She has an arrow pointing to what she said was three lines. I tried to look at it many ways and cannot see three lines.

I just had my first ultrasound today and now I can't wait to find out whether this baby is a boy or a girl. Either way I will be happy, but the wait is killing me [:)] . I heard about the "nub theory" and I was interested in what everyone thought!
