I was wondering if anyone was having food cravings and/or aversions and what they are?
I am horribly sick so not much appeals to me. Right now i am craving pizza. My favorite is Avocado and kalamata olive. I also have been wanting chocolate milkshakes. I was into lemonade, but after an unfortunate incident have not been able to touch it again! Also, i am craving red me...

So sorry! I am 10 weeks tomorrow and mine is at the worst yet. It is torture. We have had to cancel trips and I am praying it ends soon. I believe it *should* get better after 10 weeks. I think weeks 8-10 are sometimes the worst!

I have had bad m/s with all three pregnancies, but this is the worst! I am taking zofran and that helps, but not completely. Real ginger ale did help also lemonade seems to be ok. I drink lemon lime perrier too. I usually have a lot of crushed ice in all my drinks and that seems to help. i also read sniffing lemons can help- i tried it and it does help, but only for a few m...

The research I read said the women with more severe morning sickness were 50% more likely to have a girl. But I think in general it doesn't really matter.

Jazzhands- no, it doesn't help with being dizzy- i actually think it is worse!
MissMadelyn- how much are you taking? My doctor said 4mg, but I think i may need more.
Unfortunately it hasn't been working as well as it did the first time. It is better, but i still feel icky. I can not wait until the 1st trimester is over. [+o(]

Just got back from my scan and was thrilled to see one little baby with a heartbeat! Everything looks good and I am measuring a couple days ahead so they have me at 8 weeks due Jan. 12. I knew their date was a little off, because i knew when i ovulated, but i wanted the later due date since I have been a week late with both boys and i do not want to be induced! My doctor only let...

I have been so sick. It started out managable at 5 weeks, but this past week has been horrible. My doctor gave me a prescription for zofran, but i kept dragging my feet to fill it. I got it with DS2, but it was $500 for 10 pills and i freaked out about taking meds so i never took them. Luckily my insurance paid but, we are on different insurance now that only pays 50%...

I have two friends and my sister who are all due right around me. I just found out all of them are having twins!! My friend did IVF so that wasn't as much of a shock, but my sister and my other friend had no fertility treatments and no twins in the families. My sister is in such shock! I don't know anyone else who has twins so i think this is crazy!

I don't have much info, but my friend just did this. She mentioned it was much cheaper. I am happy to say it worked for her the first cycle!

Not sure if this is where I would post this, but i thought i would add it here. I was bored today (DS1 home sick) and I went through the due in boards adding up hoping for a specific gender vs. swaying for a specific gender. I am really interested in all of this! Here are the results:
64 women hoped girl: 60.9% got a girl and 39.1% got a boy
52 women swayed girl...

Congratulations!!! A line is a line! With both DS1 and with this pg, I had AF cramping. Both times i was sure AF was coming. I think it is very common and not something to worry about! I would go ahead and call.

We will find out. I have found out with both kids and wanted this one to be a suprise because it is my last. But, I don't think i can hold out! Plus, I think it will be easier on the boys if they know. My older son really wants a sister. I will need time to get him excited about a brother.
