Love his name! You did good mamma and he's beautiful.. I can see why he wouldn't cause GD and I also understand still longing for a girl.. almost like you wish he brought a little twin sister along with him. Hee hee. Still.. these little guys will keep us busy and I wouldn't be surprised if somebody told me I've already kissed him 800 times within the last 5 days. :) ...

It will happen ladies! I was a day shy of 41 weeks when I went into sudden labor, had him 4 hours later. The night before I cried in the shower and said I'd never have him and I'd have to be induced eventually. Grumpy, miserable, uncomfortable, depressed... you'll make it and the mothering and baby squeezing will be here very soon. GOOD LUCK!

UPDATE AND PICS! Close to 5am a voice woke me and said I was in labor. A few seconds later I noticed a low down contraction.. Not real strong. I noted the next came about 5 min later and the. i think i could be in labor. timing them with an iphone app now. At first they felt less like braxton and more like cramps, lower in the uterus, not the whole thing. I took it two or three times.. still pregnant. Took plenty and even straight the last two times. It's nasty and it will most likely give you the runs which isn't fun but neither is labor. I would try it again now that I've had membranes stripped and I'm dialated and dropped more but I have a fear of having diarhea during labor. Trying everthing else I can think of instead. ...

Well work is definitely keeping me busy and the kids don't come back till next week so I won't be teaching.. just lots of prep, getting the room back in order after the big summer cleaning, organizing, plans for sub, meetings, training, listening to people that like the sound of their own voices. Not a lot of manual work jsut walking which I need to do! I am actually a big gratef...

5 days past due. One membrane strip. 3 cm. Dropped. But no hope of having him on my own without pitocin. Induction scheduled for Monday. (11 days past due).

Vanilla - I understand! My MW said we could induce this week but I told
her Monday would be better.. give me a weekend to go into labor.. lol.
But now I'm so tempted to call her back and tell her to get me in
friday or saturday. I'm going to try not to... but it's tempting!

Ladyhoney, I know the feeling. I just want to cry! I am still having some of the strongest BH that I've ever had but there isn't good consistency in the timing between them. I ended up sleeping through them and just got up to have one more.. but still... it's just one! I really really hope I can tell when it's real labor because otherwise I'm going to doubt this until...

LOL... she's very proud of her DH... or he's proud of himself! HA HA. But you know, if a practitioner can feel the head with their fingers (I know my MW said she could feel his little head at my last appt)... surely an average (or slightly above average) guy COULD feel the head... if he knew what he was feeling I guess.
