I am getting quite a lot of period type pains which is making me quite nervous, as my c-section isn't schweduled until next Tues (i.e. my due date). Either way, at the most I have less than 6 days to go now. I've absolutely loaded weight on in the last month or so, now at a net gain of 30 lbs and really, really hoping to not gain anymore!! Its still a good 10 - 15 lbs less than the other two, but 10 lbs of the gain was in the last 4/5 weeks *faint*. Here I was last week at 36w:

37+4 - no sign of anything at all from me, nor do I expect there to be as DS1 was born at 40+1 and DS2 at 38+4 via elective section. Baby is also still cephalic and very high [:)]

Ola - I do understand how you feel. I have joined MC, but I don't really know yet how much I'll use it. I do think I have a forum 'hole' in my life, and they can be so so useful with a small baby helping with stuff like BFing, so although I rarely come here now a few other IG friends have told me it has been better...

Your weight gain is well within normal Nicola, and tbh I'm quite grumpy with your doc on your behalf, I saw pics of how slim you were before so you *really* do not need to worry about gaining 20 lbs [:O] I don't actually think 9 lbs in a month is all that bad either but then I did gain around 50 lbs with my 2 boys!!
I have gained about 25 lbs now, at 35 weeks but I think a good 7 lbs ...

I tried to set up an IG yahoo account but it b*ggered up my own one so I deleted it! I'm in the FB group and have invited everyone who I know from IG, I have tried to get IWALP as a friend (worked out who she was as she was one of MrsI's friends!) but couldn't as it blocked me from sending her a message until she accepted the friend invite, but I couldn't explain who I was! Quite similar to daisyboo's suggestion, my MW in my first pregnancy told me to try 'double voiding' your bladder which is basically where you go, then stop for a little say 30 secs then try and 'make' yourself go again, it does seem to be quite effective at emptying everything possible out. I'm still up 3 or 4 times per night already though, and I know that will only get worse!! [:O]
