Perrypop, I went down this HT route because I got my AMH and FSH tested before I decided. For my age I had an excellent result showing that I still had an excellent reserve for my age. AMH was 49.4 and FSH WAS 5. If you know anything about these numbers they are excellent not only for my age but i think for anyones age! However quantity was never a problem, but quality was, due to being 42! I...

Lisvna, after my first failed cycle period arrived on time, second cycle it must have been 70 days. Savvas put me on bcp to start it. I think quite a delay can be normal.

Capegrace, good to hear from you. Yes brilliant news, wasn't hoping for two but two is better than none! The meds were different this time only estrogen and progesterone. The meds were leaving me very sick this time and still being on them and being pregnant sickness is a lot worse. I can hardly function throughout the day as i am nausea the whole day. This feeling is terrible! A...

Maybeoneday, here today and feeling very sick. I was very nausea on the medication this time anyway, as it was different. I have very high betas that are looking like twins. Someone has mentioned 3. I think i would have a cardiac arrest! As you can imaginie i am over the moon, and even with a bfp the worrying sickness doesn't seem to stop! The Genesis clinic is one of the top ivf...

MOD, this site seems to have been down for weeks. I am 17dp5dt. I have a very strong beta that is looking at twins. I knew you would be interested. Thanks. Hope this gives you a little more encouragement. The other site that people talk about is up and running and a lot of girls have moved over to it because this was down. If it ever happens you should go to it and keep your same name. Then ...

Hi Sarah, I had similar symptons to you first time around. i was so bad that the clinic scanned me two days after collection. I had over 40 follicles and had a period of coasting before egg collection. only 16 were collected. The doctor said he could see only an enlarged ovary but no sign of OHSS. However i am convinced I had a mild form of it. It took until after transfer ...

Capegrace this site is crashing on me tonight so hopefully you will get this.I think this is what you may be doing. When you stop BCP you will get a bleed and then you will administer an injection or spray to start your body to down regulate. After a couple of weeks you will begin to take injections daily to increase your follicles and eggs. After taking these injections for 7 days you ...

Capegrace, I am good most of the time. I am pursuing it again soon, so will keep you updated. I am hurrying this along because of my age, 42, i don't have much more time on my side for health reasons with pregnancy. If age was on my side i wouldn't be in such a panic. Savvas seems to put girls on a protocol that will harvest around 15 eggs. He doesn't aim for much more to avoid OHSS. With hi...

Hi Capegrace, glad to see you are still pursuing your dream. When on BCP's Savvas will monitor your cycle about 2 months before you are to cycle. You will then be put on BCPs approximately 1 month before. You may have to take them for 20-30 days depending on plans for cycling. Then when you come off the pill a bleed will normally come about 3-4 days later because you have stopped the pill. T...

I would 100% recommend Genesis. i am 42 and had 2 failed cycles with Savvas, but would and am going back to him. If it is expertise, well he has it as good as anyone. He is very popular at present and results are really good.I also thought of going to America but after been to Savvas I know now America would have been no different. Now I return for another with Savvas. Good luck, if you have...

Yes, i went through him and the clinic he sends you is the genesis clinic in cyprus. I couldn't fault him, however he is the middle man and you pay so much money to him for being just that. You can go direct to savvas at the genesis clinic for a fraction of the cost.

Unfortunately Debby i did two cycles with BFN both times. Each cycle I had plenty of follicles but when all was tested I had only 1 good healthy embryo to transfer. Each time the embryo transferred were excellent but still BFN. There were none to freeze even though i had good numbers starting off.

Bear123, yes the clinic is going to give me something to kick start it next week. Unfortunately both times i got my period 6-7 days after transfer so never got to do a blood test as it was very heavy both times and was advised to stop meds. Of course we must be all mad to put ourselves through all this, but at least we are trying. Good on you for trying, please god it will be a girl an...
