No. But don't worry about it. I was just messing with the other "psychic", so I really don't need one. [lmao]

I would NOT take fenugreek before having the baby. I also would not take it after. It's not needed. You can mess with your supply and cause oversupply issues. That can lead to worse engorgement, clogged ducts, possible mastitis, etc. If you really want to help bring in your milk faster, put the baby to the breast as often as possible. Feed on demand,...

HELL NO, it won't make you a terrible mother. How you feed your child does not define you as a parent. Don't let anyone tell or make you feel you otherwise. Even though the WHO recommends breastfeeding until age two, I stopped exclusively pumping at 1 year because I *needed* to for my own sanity. I'm honestly really glad that I stopped. Instead of focusing on what I ...

Ditto ALL of this. Never in a million years would I think this was real. I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to go through that. And I'm VERY glad to hear that she is doing well. What a little trooper.

Oh, you're right Tamara. The only appropriate response at IG is ((hugs)) and hand holding.I already told her I'm sorry for her daughter if this story is true.

Or, maybe: it's the internet and the picture just does not look believeable. It just doesn't. I know for a fact I'm not the only one questioning it. If it's true: I'm so sorry, Daisy. It really does sound like an awful and traumatic experience. I'm glad it sounds like she is mending up well.

I guess I don't see how it is. It's the internet. I'd be dumb to accept everything at face value, especially when there have been several instances of fake stories and pictures on this website before.

And how is there no irritation around the puncture? The skin around it looks perfect.

How is the top of the pencil not bloody after going through her leg? Even if you wipe if off, it would stain the wooden tip.

I'm so sorry. They should not have ignored your birth plan. That is awful. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to be on pit and not be able to move. [:(]I, personally, would not believe a word about him not fitting or having too narrow a pelvis. The 'normal' position in hospitals is one of the worst positions to actually push in. When you are on our back ...

What positions did you push in? What position was baby in? Where you in bed or supine during labor a lot? Did you have an epidural? All of these things factor into "stuck baby". Very rarely is "narrow pelvis" the actual case. That's what the hormone relaxin is for. CPD is vastly over diagnosed in obstetrics.

If left alone, it can take up to 24 hours before contractions even begin if you water breaks. Most of the time, doctors aren't willing to wait long enough to see if contractions pick up by themselves. Depending on how long you waited, there is still a chance labor would have started on it's own. Most doctors are just very pitocin happy after ROM.Infection shouldn't be an issue if...

It sounds like he was growth spurting. It's common for them to suddenly want to eat a lot more like that. Read this: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/low-supply.html

I like mine plain, but I always add a bit of sugar for DH. I've added different flavors like lemon or lime for different desserts. Oh, and I once threw some cream and sugar in a saucepan and added some coffee beans. I brought it up to temp to let the coffee flavor soak in. Then I cooled it and made whipped cream from that. I don't remember what I used it for, bu...

Just because the head is engaged does not mean they can predict when you go into labor. My baby's head was engaged pretty early on and I went to 41 weeks. Babies are fickle like that. The mucus plug is also normal. It's actually pretty nifty and can regenerate itself to some extent. The contractions could be braxton hicks. In fact, if they are irregular it is most likely BH.
So basically: hav...

Just keep doing that. Follow his cues. I know it's a little harder because bottle fed babies tend to overeat more than breastfed babies... but just following his cues is the best thing you can do. How many ounces is he taking in a 24 period?

Can you answer a couple of quick questions? It will help :)1.) How often were you pumping in the beginning? (Be specific. What times and for how long. How many pumps a day?)2.) How many ounces are you averaging in a 24 hour period? How many ounces total does baby eat in a 24 hour period? 3.) Are you stictly EPing or do you ever latch baby at all? (That rea...
