I feel EXACTLY the same way! We had two older girls and I am now pregnant nearly 9 years later with my 3rd girl. We swayed hard for a boy. So now I am scared to have a fourth because my girls are so much older than this one (who is due in a couple weeks) and they are so close as sisters. We had planned to have a fourth close to this one and ignorantly just assumed it will be the same sex too. So n...

Hi cupcake,
That is interesting - out of interest is your husband very hairy and does he have a deep voice? Not sure those things are directluy connected to testosterone level but I dont know many grls who are hairy with deep voices LOL

The "troll" said to me earlier that men with low sperm counts are more likely to have females - does anyone know if this is the case. The "troll" did contradict herself though saying that her husband with the high fertility gave her a boy and then a girl so I am guessing even very fertile men could still have several or even all girls.
We have three girls and my husband has 3...

Well, we have 2 older daughters (11 and 9) and when we decided to conceive again after all these years, we hoped for 2 boys close together. Well, we found out that this will be DD three so now we will sway for a 4th girl. It is just a personal preference. I see how sweet my oldest two girls are together and I want this one to experience that too and that would be hard in my opinion with my two old...

Yeah, don't feel bad. I have a "friend" who has made numerous insensitive comments to me. She has a PP and goes on about anyone having one is sooo lucky when I am pregnant with my 3rd DD. Makes me feel as though my family is imperfect in some way. I think a lot of people are just unable to think before they speak or perhaps are just jealous in some way.

WAIT! Don't pay that price for that bedding. Here is a link to the same set on ebay. This one is about to end, but just go to ebay and search dragonfly crib bedding and there are more.

I don't think the second line has to be as dark as the control line on a pregnancy test. I think you are thinking of an ovulation test. That is a definite positive test! If you are unsure, go have a blood test to confirm.

My husband loves his Xbox too and he could get carried away with it if I let him. Simply don't put up with it. It sounds like your husband may have a gambling/gaming addiction too that needs addressing. He may silently feel out of control and not really no what to do about it. Either way he needs to either get help, or choose to put you all first before his boys are packing up for college. Childho...

Coming from a family deeply affected by alcoholism, drinking and driving under ANY amount of alcohol is something I am against. My brother died before I was born from alcohol poisoning and my father who quit drinking before I was born, almost died in a drunken car accident. One beer slows one's reflexes and we are talking cans of beer, not the giant mugs of them they serve in most restaurants. Dep...

I do. I have 2 little girls who are the best of friends and now I cannot imagine having a PP. So, here I am nearly 9 years later having baby girl number 3 and now we are hoping number 4 (our final) who we plan to have in a couple years (God willing) will be a girl too. What is best for us (for those who really want PPs) is not always what is best for our children, so although we would love a littl...

Oh wow Ethan James is what we were possibly going to name our son! Evan just just as nice, though. I am really relieved that you felt that way when your son was born and congratulations!

I agree with this for the most part. I don't recall anyone getting overly excited for any one of my DDs. This third one, I think a lot of people who care about me forced themselves to act happy about it, but I think they assumed we surely wanted a son (no one except my husband knew about my GD). It seems to me everyone thinks having a boy is something really special- around here anyway, but p...

Hi and sorry to hear about the baby shower thing. It seems everyone around me is having boys right now and are loving it, so I know how hard it can be as I am having my 3rd DD in May. As for the height thing, I don't know, but I am only 5' 4"!!
