I'm currently pregnant from my 2nd IVF/PGD attempt. I can tell you from an emotional perspective, I was SO MUCH more relaxed my second cycle. I knew what to expect and my hubby and kids were with me the whole time. These 2 things really helped my stress levels. If that is why it worked for me, who knows. but I think it played a role. Congrats!!! I am 14 weeks and I have nerves about being a PGD opposite too! I haven't bought a pink thing either...I can't wait to be in your shoes -- go shopping for your girl!!!!

Just want to add my 2 cents too...I cycled in July (BFN) and Jan (BFP) with HRC. I did 5 probe in July and was TOLD IT WAS NOT AN OPTION in January. OVER AND OVER I was told that. I had a very difficult time making the decision between the 2 probe and 24 probe and had several conversations with Dr. Potter and Lori and the 5 probe WAS NEVER offered as an option. This infuria...

Hi girls. thanks for all the responses. I have seen my OB but never asked their opinion they just asked when I would be off of everything and when I said 12 weeks for the metformin, he said "good". I didnt' think at that time to ask more. I aslked Lori and she said I should not be on it anymore. I decided to go off of it.

Hi there. I have been searching all night on here and can't find anything about this on here. Lots of other sites though. Lori at HRC says I am free to stop metformin now at 12 weeks pregnant. At first, I was thrilled! To not deal wtih taking this 3 times a day, whoo hoo. BUT ... now I am nervous about stopping!

I had it too! It's terrible isn't it? Sounds like you have more fluid in your belly than I did. You have an appt tomorrow with Dr P right? If not DEMAND ONE. You need to be seen before you get on a plane for 10 hours. I had a long day of flying across the US and it was misery and i was with DH to help me, I think you're on your own right?

We were just there for 10 days (stayed farther south at the beach though) in January. First I would NOT plan anymore days of activity. This was my 2nd cycle and I felt MUCH MUCH MUCH better this time but my first cycle there is no way I would have been doing anything active between ER and ET and Dr P put me on bedrest for mild OHSS too. I was sooo sore and had bad cramp...

I didn't do it at all. To be honest, I couldn't afford it...the clinics around me charge a small fortune and with all the $$$$$$ we spent, I needed to keep it down. I do however believe that my MUCH LOWER stress level the 2nd go round had to help for something - BFP.
