Aarav was born 21 inches and 8 lb 12 oz. Had my repeat C-sec on 19th Oct at 39wk3d. He peed at the nurse right after coming out!!! We were almost 45 minutes late, struck in traffic. Anywaiz, my surgery went pretty smooth.. I was dreading it since my last C-Sec was really horrible. The recovery is going smooth too...A little overwhelmed with 3 kids... Rarely get time to be online!!

Wow!!! Amazing! Congratulations on the baby!!! I am so excited!! I have the scheduled C-Sec in around 36 hours!!! SO lets see!!!

Was my last day at work!!! Going to be a SAHM after the baby... Lost of mixed feelings... Had my pre-op appt earlier today as well.. Waiting for my last Ob-Gyn appt... And all set for c-sec on Tuesday... I guess I have happily given up the hope of having this baby before the scheduled date!!!

It wasn't even my due date..and I was bummed that I did not have him on 10/10/10..!!! I guess we just need to be patient.....as they say..."Patience Pays!!!"

Ok, I am back to normal today...after a day of whining and being upset!!! well I am walking almost 1 and 1/2 hours everyday to get things going..which includes going up and down the stairs in a near by mall. Its getting cold over here..so take my girls and my mom to the mall.. and walk while my mom watches the girls in the play area.. dtd every night as well.. have not tried the tea or the epo, bu...

Had my appointment yesterday..supposedly I am 2.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced..does that mean anything? I dunno! but I am so excited to welcome the new baby! finally packed my bag!!! and have the nursery ready!!!
The elder DD has started to get worried...she does not want me to stay in the hospital..she wants me to be home in the night after having the baby!!! has started to cry everytime she see...

tdurand10, Stripping is not same as inducing(medically I mean). However, its supposed to release some hormones that may induce labor naturally. I had mine done with my last pregnancy and it did not help. I have a Dr's appt tomorrow and I do plan to have her do it tomm...at least its worth trying. My dr has said that she will do it but she also said that there are low chances of it working an...

As for me, I am just excited thinking about the new baby!!! I am still working and excersing/walking a lot..to get things going..but for me ..I guess its a lost cause!! I have never been in labor before the due date!!! But I am still trying! Almost 38 weeks now!
Haven't heard of any more October babies yet!!! Looks like they...

I dont know whether its just me or not...but I have gone crazy shopping for the baby. I already have everything I have for the baby but somehow I feel that I need more..I am not yet prepared!!! I know that I have more than I need..but still buying stuff makes me feel as if I am a step closer to having the baby!!! Wierd..I know..but can't help it!!!!

YAY!!! I am counting days as well!!! For me, its kinda race against time! Its kinda complicated situation but if I have the baby on or before 11th OCT, I get maternity leave (almost 9 weeks), if I have the baby later I do not:(

BigStar, my last C-Section was also done by another doctor, not my regular gyne! Still I have the regular gyne this time and am hoping that she does the C-Section this time. I have a confirmed date for C-Section, but everybody keeps telling me that the baby is not going to stay in...

Haha!! I hear you. My husband named our elder daughter on his parents suggestion when we had already been talking about another name and I have not been able to forgive him yet. He later said that we should change the name to what we had decided..but I told him that the damage has already been done.. so he's been really careful since then..with the younger DD and now with our DS.

I have never been told that I am measuring ahead, but my babies are usually big. My elder DD was almost 9pounds 6 ounces, the younger one was 8-5. Even this baby's weight was estimated to be over 5 lbs when it should be a little less than 4. However, my doctor did not say that I was measuring BIG. Does that mean that measuring few weeks ahead and having a big baby (weight) are not related?&nb...

I am in the same boat guys!!! Me and my husband do not seem to be in agreement on any name either. There's a couple of names that I really love, but he disapproves of them and the ones that he picked, I disapprove of them.. still looking for names..and I have another month or less to pic one!!! Lets see ..

I talked to my doctor and she said that it usually does not work if its done early (like at 37-38 weeks). Chances are that it will work if you are 39 wks or more!

Thank you all for your suggestions! As you all said, it sounds like fun, but not worth the risk. Even though I really really want to go..I think staying back is the best option for me..Some other time may be!
