Re: How long after failed cycle should I expect AF?

My AF after stopping PIO was like about 6 days after my *non-transfer* day. The next AF took almost 40 days to come, with ovulation being 10 days later than normal, and AF about 10 days later than normal. Does that help?

Re: Dr Potter, how can I test if I have early ovarian aging ?

This may help while you wait for the doctor.  My sis did IVF for infertility at 41, and the test they did on her was AMH,  or anti-mullerian hormone. I have also heard of Inhibin B being done.

Re: I made a PROMISE...

So Sorry Emilia that it did not work out. But you did the most awesome thing, you spend the time and money on givng these boys a chance at your joining your family, and in a way, they have gone back to where they belong, in their mother. They will be embraced by your love forever. Lots of love to you.

Drive to Florida?

Who has driven to Florida, and how bad was it? Would you split the drive up between 2 days, with a hotel stay between, or drive on through? It is about a 24 hour drive from here. We have friends who want us to go with them, and we would borrow their mini-van and they would drive our car as they only have 2 kids, and we have 3, and I need to be able to get back to Kitty if she is throwing a hissy...

Nice Article on GD

This was in my local paper, but I found it on another site online.  How about that. I showed my dh, and he said "I wondered when this stuff would start going mainstream" http://www.lfpress.com/life/2009/11/14/11743671-sun.html   Oh boy, I really wanted a daughter By ANGIE WAGNER, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS LAS VEGAS -- My good friend just found out she is pregnant with a boy. Re: OALD? Colic? Help for 1wk old please!

Twice actually, as a kid I had CP, and then as a teen got shingles. I am good and immune now!!! My dh got it at 19yrs old, and said it was awful. I would love the kids to all have CP as little kids though. I will debate getting the vax if they make it to their teen years without catching it. Hence why I want it now. I occasionaaly post it on facebook that I am looking for an outbreak

Re: OALD? Colic? Help for 1wk old please!

Darn it! I wish you were closer, there are a whole legion of us that really really want to catch the chicken pox here, me included. It would be great since I am on mat leave to get it done now! Got anything infectious you can mail me?[:P] I called my kids all "Dr.Octopus" for that very reason! I actually remember swaddling ds2 and standing to nurse, and doing figure *8*s with my hips to calm ...

Re: OALD? Colic? Help for 1wk old please!

ds1 would have a hard time latching in the late afternoon and evening due to colicky crying. I found swaddling him while nursing would help. and if that still didn't work, I would swaddle and bounce on an excercise ball at the same time while nursing....funny sounding, but worked for him! gl!

Re: How much would it hurt if I gave DS a bottle

I have heard of nipple confusion in the early days, but have never personally given a bottle before 6-8 wks, so not much help there. I DO however, pump milk, and often leave it in my fridge for a day or two before freezing.  That is A-ok!

Re: How can you get newborn to eat longer and less frequent?

Hi Baby Kai! Sorry, no words of advice, other than this sounds like all my kids. They all sat at the boobah non stop for first 3-4 weeks. It is hard on the other kid(s), but just they way the cookie crumbled around here. Ok, my advice after all. Hunker down, get yourself a nice comfy chair in yoru living room, a nice pillow and a cup of tea, and prepare to watch soome serious Thomas with your o...

The 13 yr old that died of H1N1 related complications.... http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/10/27/frustraglio-h1n1-toronto-hockey113.html I have not heard of a single person in hospital from vaccine related complications. Re: My 2 cents on H1N1 from a non-vaccinator

I am totally cracking up here, as this is absolutely untrue! I totally believe that most vaccines work! I think that they do a great job in protecting the masses against polio, diptheria, tetanus and more! Polio was eradicated so nicely due to the vaccine that doctors do not know how to deal with patients suffering from the effects of childhood polio anymore. How cool is that??! About my famil...
