Thank you all so much! We are both doing great. I'm recovering wonderfully and she is just an angel.
I've waited a long time for this sweet baby girl and the wait has been soooooo worth it, she's more than I could have
ever dreamed of, I'm truly in LOVE all over again!

Well after lots of contractions for a week, and a trip to L&D on friday 7/17 only to be sent home. I finally went in for a scheduled amnio to see if her lungs were mature, as long as they were we were going to deliver Monday 7/20.
Ultrasound comes in ready for the amnio (they have to find sacs of fluid for the doc to draw from)
They are looking around for awhile and I start to see a concerne...

Oh my how scary. I just went in on friday and saturday for my steroid injections too. I am being delivered at 38 weeks via c section.
I hope that baby bakes a little while longer so that she can mature a bit more. Best wishes to you both!! :)

Oh I know it was so lucky. I had no idea they even did that. I had one scheduled for another place and almost paid $120 bucks for it! FREE was much much better..lol.

Hey all I haven't been on here in awhile. I'll give a brief update..or as brief as I can.
Things have been going really well so far with the pregnancy. I have an appt today though
because my doctor wants to set up a date for the C-Section. She's wanting to delivery me around 37 weeks because I have epliepsy
and have already had 2 seizures since I've gotten pregnant. She doesn't want to put an...

My little girl is sitting really really low too. I constantly feel her head rolling on my pelvic bones, and feel her punching me in the bladder and down really low. She does kick up higher and on my sides too, but a LOT of lower movement.
I think it sounds normal. It could just be the way she's positioned in there.
I'm just a few days ahead of you. :)

Mine insisted this one was a girl and he was right. He also knew for our last son that he was a boy.

First that lady was rude and I would have been upset too!!
People really do not thing before they speak.
Second what a wonderful ending!!! Your husband sounds just like my hubby he does stuff like that for me all the time.
It's so nice of him to be sensitive to your feelings!!

OMG I am sure you are worried sick, I know I would be.
I'm glad the u/s showed nothing unusual and a healthy baby. I hope the bleeding stops and it turns up to be nothing serious.

We decided on Rose for the middle name because the morning of the very first u/s when we found out 85% sure that it was a girl, my DH
gave me a poem about it being a girl and a dozen pink roses. So I thought it would have special meaning to us both. :)

(HUGS) I"m so sorry. I know those words are hard to hear, I have 3 boys and am pregnant with #4 which is finally a girl.
Only thing I can say is that you are not a horrible mother, it will get better and once you see that baby's face..it wont matter. You will always want your girl but you will love your boys just the same.
I felt really disapointed with boy #3 and I tell you life wouldn't ...

Back at my 15 week ultrasound tech was 85% sure it was a girl....
and today.....
I finally got toilet shots and I'm shocked to say
IT'S STILL A GIRL!!!!!
We are seriously elated!!! I cried when she typed those famous words up on the screen. Here's 3 shots. First 2 are the toilet shots and the 2nd is her profile.
Her name is Alexa Ros...

All your name choices are really pretty. I like Leah Rose or Elle Rose the best Ava seems to bet getting a bit too popular these days. We are naming our baby girl Alexa Rose. :) Hehe. :) And I agree Lily Rose is a bit much. Congrats on your girl, and good luck finding the perfect name!
