Country Belle- I only did IVF with ICSI. I didn't do PGD. I wanted a girl so bad I couldn't wait until my u/s to find out the gender. I would have done anything to know as early as possible[:)]

I asked the same question you did when I got my girl result. In my case I truly wanted a girl and wanted confirmation that is WAS correct. I only found one (two at the most) women who had a girl result be incorrect. Mine, fortunately was correct. I am having a girl! I even called and had them reassure me a girl result was correct. They were so sure they sent me another test for free. That too, sai...

I've seen so many negative posts about this test and I wanted to share my experience. I took it at 10 weeks and it said girl. After reading all the skepticism I called them and they shipped out another one free of charge. At 15 weeks, it still said girl. I've since had my 16 week u/s- said girl, and my 20 weeks u/s- again girl! I can't believe it but I'm actually having a girl!!!!!!! My DH is a ph...

I used Prometrium. It's normally taken orally but my RE had me use it as a suppository 3x day. It's not as messy then the gel- IMO (they're smaller too)

I stayed in bed the day of ET. The next morning, 24 hours later, I got up and resumed normal activity. Of course I took it easy, but I did take a 2 hour car ride to a neighboring city to go see a musical comedy. Part of me was afraid to laugh too hard! I think blood flow to the uterus is important for implantation. Just my opinion. My RE said I didn't have to rest at all. Get this! He even said I ...

Don't feel bad. You're not doing anything wrong. It's all in the name of science! Maybe you could have DH finish ON you instead if IN you and could test that way. Also, I also seem to have some drippage (yep, made up that word) on the sheets. Could you test that? Good Luck!

Thanks everyone for your responses. My mom has 4 grandsons. This will be her only grandaughter. She was crying yesterday when I told her...she was so happy! I just want to be sure it's really a girl before she goes broke buying pink things!

Ok, I'm 16 weeks, 2 days. I'm amazed at the ability of all you ladies to interpret ultrasounds. I guess I've come to believe in you more than the u/s tech. So....what do you think? Blue or Pink?

Hmmmm, I remember seeing Dazie's post. I just keep seeing so many boy ones that were wrong and only the one from her that was an incorrect girl one. As much as I hope mine is correct, I'm a complete skeptic so I like any info I can get to let me know if it may be wrong. Thanks for the info[:)]
Chloe-If you don't mind me asking, how far along were you when you did the test?

I took the test at 10 1/2 weeks and again at 15 weeks (they sent me a free test because I question whether I took it too early). Both said 'girl'. I know it can easily be contaminated and give a false boy result but I don't hear of too many false girls. Am I wrong?
