Help...my baby has RSV!

I just got back from the dr. with my 14 week old dd....both of my older kids were sick with brochitis and now she has been diagnosed with RSV.  Neither of my older kids ever had  RSV and i am not that familiar with it...they said they cant give her anything to help and i need to watch her to make sure she is breathing okay...etc. Has anyone else's kids had this and was there anything you...

Really Great Diaper Bag?

I am looking for the "ultimate" diaper bag...and i have no idea what to get and would love your thoughts!  I need something that has an outside pocket for keys and cell phone (cant stand not being able to find them lost in the bag!) and something that is stylish...does not necessarily look like a diaper bag so i can use it as a purse when i am not with my baby...and something that is big enou...

ever get used to the fact that you have a daughter???  My DD is now 12 weeks and every day i keep starring at her in disbelief that i finally got my girl!  Does it ever sink in??  I just still find it hard to believe that my dream has come true!  Silly i know, but i still just cant believe it!

Rotovirus Vaccine

i took my dd to the peditrician for her 2 month check up and they did not give her the rotovirus vaccine--the dr. said he thinks it is unnecessary but said i could go to the health dept and get her the shots for about $6. each.  the main reason i wanted my dd to get the shot is about a year ago my son was in the hospital for 8 days with a case of rotovirus that nearly killed him... has any...

Help! My baby seems like she is in pain!

I took my dd to the peditrician yesterday for her two month check up...it was routine...but when he checked her hips (did that thing where he sort of rolls them around to check for hip problems) he did not notice any problems but she started screaming the worst cry i have ever heard with tears...this went on for about twenty minutes...i should also tell you that my dd rarely if ever cries at all.....

What is it like having a big family?

I recently had my third...have two boys now a girl...and i always thought once i got my girl that i would be totally done having kids...but although she is only eight weeks old...i still have this feeling in my heart that i am not done having kids...yes, i would love another girl, but would be good with another boy....i only have one brother and my dh is an only child...i have not really expressed...

Caroline Elizabeth was born on 11/29/08 weighing in at 7 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches!  The epidural did not work on me because of scar tissue in my back so labor was difficult, but well worth it...she is so amazing!  The easiest baby of my three (so far!) Please Help...I am sick and need advice!

I am almost 38 weeks and have the worst head cold!  I can not breathe at all out of my nose and the baby is so big that she is pressing on my lungs and i feel like i cant catch my breath at all!  I have a sinus headache and never went to bed at all last night...i tried taking sudafed and tylenol but hate to take medicines...but at this point i am so miserable! Labor Question....what was your experience?

I remember it like it was yesterday...but it was 6 years ago TODAY!!  I had the worst back labor with my first son...epidural did not work and i was in so much pain---my husband had me on tape saying i would have no more children!  But I did...and with my second child NO back labor at all...and i did not do anything different...so there is hope!  I just hope i dont have it with my 3...

Breech at 31 weeks

Hi! I went to the dr. today and he did an u/s said the baby was breech...he said she might turn around but if not he would try to turn her in a few weeks himself...has anyone else been breech at 31 weeks and had the baby turn on their own?  If not, does it hurt really bad when the dr. tries to turn them?  if they can not get her to turn-he said i might need a c-section but they would do ...

I have big babies too...my husband and I are both tall! DS: 8.1 and 21 inches (16 pounds by 1 month old!!!) DS #2: 9.15 and 22 inches (they told me he would be 11 pounds-i was freaking out before delivery-but did deliver him naturally!) We moved to a new state and now i have a new doctor who said he would induce me at around 37 weeks...he said why should i have to push out a 10 or 11 pound baby...

I had been dealing with this for several months...talked to my OB and he recommended a chiropractor...who specialized in pregnant women.  I have gone 3 times and NO LONGER HAVE ANY PAIN!!!  It has been the most amazing thing...i have never been a big believer in chiropractic care...but i was so desperate...the instant he adjusted my lower back...the pressure was released and i can finall...

So, i am flying to CA tomorrow so my friends back home can have a baby shower for me...i have had 4 u/s all saying girl and i still am having a hard time believing it...i met a lady today that told me with her first son the doctor was so sure it was a girl, he even told her he would go to vegas and put $$ on it!!  WOW!  That really scared me...so hence, here i am stressing that i will go...

Great name!  My son's name is Campbell Ryan...sort of the "boy" version of her name!  He has never had a problem with people calling him Campbell's soup and I get a lot of compliments on his name!  By the way I love the way you are spelling it!

WOW, that is the coolest thing I have ever seen!  I hate not being able to sleep on my stomach and have horrible hip pain at night...if I was not as far along, I would totally buy it!  Personally, I think it is worth every penny!!!  :)

So I did not even try to breastfeed either of my boys but they ended up with bad allergies and asthma and i feel like i want to try to breastfeed this baby to give her a better chance...My goal is 6 weeks...and then if it works out i will keep going from there...i just want to take one day at a time and not put too much pressure on myself if it does not work out but i really want to give it the ve...

I would not worry too much, they told me with my son that he would be 11 pounds!  I was freaking out trying to figure out how i was going to deliver an 11 pound baby...he turned out to be 9lbs and 22 inches...so i think u/s are more estimates on weight than anything....
