Continuing egg quality improving supplements during pregnancy

Does anyone know are there benefits to continuing the egg quality improving supplements COQ10Pcynogenol during pregnacy? I know that a good prenatal while you're pregnant is really  important.  But what about Coq10 and Pcynogenol. I believe RJ can be continued and helps with MS.  I d/c the DHEA after I got BFP.  Is there anyone out there have any information.&nbs...

Re: Any of you ladies do the ring test?

All right I must be naive as I don't know what the ring test is?  and how many times you do it to show how many and gender of children you'll have?  Just Curious.

Re: I must be going crazy!

I'm feeling the same way.  Are you 2 expecting boys per chance?

Re: Hematoma?

Ahhhhh, someone else who is experiencing this and nonetheless we're all expecting boys and our first boy which makes our boys oh so special and wanted.  I just got diagnosed with a 2.6cm SCH and it freaked me out.  This is an IVF pregnancy and very much wanted and I too wish I could just sit back and enjoy and relish this pregnancy.  Let's all say some prayers for each other. ...

Freaking out about SCH

Anyone offer some support---I had a small 2.6cm SCH diagnosed last Fri I keep telling myself it's all right and it will resolve but I feel like I know too much, heard too many stories.  Anyone else have one and have it turn out just perfectly fine.  This IVF pregnancy is so wanted that I feel like I just want to sit back and enjoy and relish it but I feel like a cloud of worry is blockin...

Re: Washington Center for Reproductive Medicine

I did my 1st successful IVF with them back in 2003.  Dr. Kustin is excellent.  I've heard that some don't like him b/c of his bedside manner (very direct and to the point) but I like it and find it refreshing, I don't need things sugar coated, just tell me like it is.  He was aggressive with me in that he tested for immune issues even though there wasn't a hx but I didn't want...

Totally Agree! There's so much for science to uncover in the process of the miracle of viable life.  For GS it's best to go with 2 probe

Re: Did you do the NT scan if you did PGD?

I'm so glad to see someone else posted this question.  I think the info that NBP posted was priceless and was what convinced us to go ahead and do it.  We too had felt at first, well we're not going to change the outcome, but knowing that IF something could be fixed, that is the clencher.  Will have mine done next week.  Would love to see another thread of everyone's resu...

Re: Anyone else freak about gender before their gender scan even though they did PGD???

Thank you so much ladies!  I had a bout of doubt like 'omg what if they made a mistake in the lab?' [:O]  What the heck was that US tech thinking?  CC-would you say something like that? perpetuate an OWT?

25 Aug 2010 1:18 AM

All right why can't I record my US

I have a question for you ladies, when you work this hard to have a baby going through IVF (no choice for us, PGD was a choice but otherwise had to do it anyways) why can't I record/videotape my US?  I had multiple US in Seattle WA where it was no problem getting a recording of my US; now here in Iowa (not the end of the earth, but I think we can see it from here---love it here though) can't ...

Anyone else freak about gender before their gender scan even though they did PGD???

All right, I believe it's an OWT but the US tech was making comments today about the HR being 172bpm and having a girl.  We're thinking 'we did PGD and it's a boy' but didn't want to let on. Afterwards we're like 'they better have got it right with the PGD"  Anyone else have the same feelings before they confirmed gender on an US?

Re: Fed up with looking at pics of beautiful girls in bikinis half my age...

Girl, you've gotta do what you feel right is in your heart, but if you ask me which of course you didn't but I think the fact you had a healthy baby at 40 (beats a lot of odds) and you've got a good AFCand the fact that you've had so many issues getting a donor, the universe maybe telling you to seriously consider batching 3 cycles of your own eggs like Amanda and I did.  You've got 3 cycles ...

For AMA: Prenatal screening for Downs, Tris 18 and NTD

What are everyone's thoughts on doing the screening tests for Downs, Tri 18 and NTD?  Does it really help anyone's decision?  Or does it just cause more anxiety over false positive?

Re: Am I old?

Want to talk about feeling disappointed having nothing to freeze.  I hear ya there.  I had 2 cycles and had 19 embies day 5.  I thought I would have at least a couple to freeze.  Uh, no. I put back in 5 and got 1 baby on board Thank God [pray]  (not to sound ungrateful)  But yes, secretly it's disappointing not to have a sibling frozen considering my age. B...

Re: Am I old?

I completely agree.  Still well within the realm of possibility.  Many women turn to high-tech for fertility reasons alone, not considering gender, are AMA.  35 is not a "magic number".  [/quote]Completely Agree!!  Seriously?!  37 old?  Just turned 37 and got pg and I refuse to think that 37 is old.  Plan on getting pg again God Willing! [pray...

Re: Am I old?

Uh, NO.  That stupid [8o|] 35 number is just a cut-off AVERAGE that medical profession/doctors make up to get people acknowledge that fertility does in fact decline.  It's not an INDIVIDUALIZED number.  For someone in their 20s they could be too late, some people have healthy kids in their 40s.  It's not about the number!  It's about you.  Everyone is uniqu...

Re: received bill 3 years after cycling

OMG!!!!! We had the same thing happen to us. SIRM has unethical, unscrupulous billing practices.  We too got a bill after our cycle with them and was SHOCKED as we were cash pay and PLUS we previously had a bill from them saying we were 'PAID IN FULL, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR CYCLE'.  Like most places you can't cycle with them until you pay in full.  So when we got the bill we were l...

Re: Any 37 yr old BFP'S ?

OOOOOHHH, ME!  I'm exactly 37 and just got my BFP.  Thank you God!!AFC can fluctuate and it's really not the best indicator of response or success.  Remember it's about quality...time and time again, we see people on IG that get tons of eggs, but everyone not matter how many really only ends up with 2 or maybe 3 that look good to transfer and end up sticking.  My AFC vari...

Darn crinone cream

All right I thought it was great I was off the PIO now I'm thinking I'll go begging to go back on them instead of this Crinone cream.  I've gotten a yeast infection.  Has anyone else have this happen?  I've never had one and I want to know if anyone knows any good natural rememdies.  I'm taking some apple cider vinegar and probiotics (I don't like yogurt......lactose intolera...

Natural remedies for yeast infection?

Due to the Progesterone cream for IVF, I've gotten a yeast infection which I've never had.  Does anyone have any good natural remedies other than taking some apple cider vinegar and probiotics (I don't like yogurt......lactose intolerant too).  Any ideas?  Thx!
