I have totally regressed. I got to the point where i was ready and scheduled to do pgd but then i got pregnant naturally with another boy. I have totally regressed and don't know if i have the courage to go through IVF and PGD. Do you feel like you look at your PGD kids differently, does it bother you that you didnt conceive them naturally as you conceived your others? Does it make a difference t...

yup am pregnant with another boy. We did one cycle of spinning and then decided to sway naturally. Swayed veryhard, conceived a boy, miscarried him, had a D&C and got pregnant with swaying again immediately right after with another boy. This year has been really tough in all respects. best of luck to you!!

so sorry you got miscarried. that is a good deal, wishing you the best best of luck! so sorry about the miscarriage. I got so disheartened from my bfn that i tried naturally with swaying. greatest of luck.

i think its better than swaying alone! But it can take a few tries to get prego and where i was going it was close to 4k a pop....

a lot of dr's do the spinning but all the RE's i have consulted with said that even after the spinning, the women still end up with 1/2 girl embies -- so waste of money and maybe evidence that ericsson just doesnt change the odds.

definitely ericsson. I wish i did spinning (did MSU with Dr. in city only once but didnt get prego) and then swayed twice - only to conceive two boys (miscarried first)....if you are ok wtih an opposite, do the most that you can that is different from trying naturally -- just my opinion. Swaying just doesn't work....Ericsson may boost the odds just a bit. NOone knows how much swaying boosts the o...

which dr. are you seeing? We saw Khatamee and did one cycle but didnt get prego. he does an ericsson similar swim up spin and claims 85% success rate.

not to burst anyone's bubble but don't think any of this works, just my opinion. Wore the huge magnet belt that everyone raved about on my pelvic region and still having another boy but good luck to you all.

I definitely agree - you really need to meet these doctors to determine who feels most right for you -- its such a personal decision!

Any chance you can follow up with Grunfeld -- it may be Dr. M's passion right now and maybe the other doctors are less gung ho on it? I thought Grunfeld was really great over the phone. you can even do a phone consult and it isnt that much money.

me too, when you get that ball, please send it to me after you use it. This whole process has been so hard and painful....you know i tried to be so optimistic and hopeful through out the swaying , through the miscarriage and swaying again....and being told that this baby was 90% a girl.....i jsut dont feel hopeful anymore or that it will happen for me....and IVF scares me to death....let your hubb...

yes definitely, you can broach it in 6 months. I think they say u gotta wait 3 months until after you stop breastfeeding and if you dont bf then you can cycle earlier.....don't worry about Dh saying only one cycle, once he is invested, he will do what it takes to make you happy and get you your girl -- and who knows, maybe it will take only one cycle ;)
Do you ever regret not spinning? I kind of ...

that is a great attitude....i think if you do it early enough you wont go crazy when it doesnt work the first time...like for me this time i wanted to be pregnant a year before we started trying and swaying so it was all the waiting and disappointment that came with that that killed me....had we started trying much earlier i think i would have been more relaxed through out the whole process. Kate...

Its so so hard. I haven't even had ds3 yet, and i get so depressed and feel down so much. The thought of IVF terrifies me but i have no choice, i cant live my life feeling so depressed or that i missed out on a daughter. I'd never be truly happy or fair to my marriage or my boys. I need that peace. DH thinks i have gone off the deep end, really wants to make me happy but doesnt understand how ...

so glad you finally had y our consult. When i spoke with Dr. G at RMA in Feb, he didnt mention anything about a day 5 biopsy and if i remember correctly he definitely preferred the 3 day. The day 5 biopsy seems so experimental and new...if he was ok with day 3 and you feel more comfortable with it, maybe go with that route and tell him you'd rather do that route. Do you want to meet with any oth...

So sorry for all your difficulty in this process. You have come this far -- maybe let them all go to PGD and see what happens -- for all you know there could be three girls right there ready to be put right back into you.

when i consulted at NYU, they didnt even suggest ICSI, bc we are young and my husbands sperm count was normal or high so i figured if i cycled somewhere else that usually used ICSI, that maybe i didnt have to use it. Doing iVF is far beyond what i thought i would do to have a girl so i was hoping that i could use a more conservative approach or the least invasive as possible if that makes any sen...

i met with SIlverman and Dr. Khatamee. I really liked Dr. Silverman but when i did research on ericsson online it seemed like most people got opposites andi was scared of conceiving twin boys with clomid...Dr. Khatamee charges 3 k as well per cycle...i think he charges extra for some ultrasounds...

after swaying twice (using timing 3 times) and still conceiving boys...part of me regrets not using something more high tech than just swaying....was so stressful and didnt work two times in a row, with all teh swaying, diet, supplements, ions, right moon phases , magnetic belts etc. For those considering ericsson, maybe try it one more time. Thats my two cents. I just dont believe swaying works. ...
