Re: " Be Sure to Put in an Order for a Little BOY"

The first pregnancy anouncement I made to Dp's family his mom left the room and could only say "What about school, are you going to finish school. You're ruining your life" (We were 20 at the time). His older brother asked how far along we were and when i told him 22 weeks he said "I guess your not getting an abortion then" The second time I was pregnant I refused to be there for the anouncem...

Re: Top 3 (POLL)

My favourite name of all three is Sage but I think Shephard goes better with your other boy's names ( I really like the sound of Sage Holland though too) Congrats on your new baby :D

Re: Large baby feet in ultrasound and gender indicator????

I would think the same thing! When my doc gestimated that my baby was closing in on 9 pounds I thought for sure it was a boy as I just assumed bigger = boy! Everyone I know personally that had both genders, they're boys were always larger too! I think when you're team green you take every comment to sometimes mean more than people intended if you know what i mean? I remember thinking ove...

Re: Naming girl after sister passing

Sorry for your loss :( I named my daughter Talia or different spelling Thalia and it means Heavens dew :) Maybe Talia Marie? Or you can use her first intial S and find a name you really like? And like a pp said Marie is a great middle name that goes with most names. Good luck or your name search!

Re: Do you ever wish that we didn't have the option of finding out the gender in an ultrasound?

Hi! I've been team green 3 times! For me its pretty normal, and I like waiting even when i drive myself nuts wondering who this baby is! I've always thought that if you found out that the baby was a boy/girl then the other gender baby dies in a way iykwim? Where if you find out at birth then that baby in your hands is your baby not an idea of a baby if that makes sense? This was before I ever hear...

Re: Eating a lot mean boy?

In my case it did not. With my first son I would say I had a normal apetite. With my second son it was never physically sick but I had aversions to everything! Everything smelled gross, everything tasted funny it was  a nightmare! At one point I would crave something make it then as I was eating it, it would just not taste right at all! lol, I seriously called my mom and cried (more than once...

Re: Precipitous labour ( quick labours)

Hi!p I was worried about this as well! My first was 8 hours (4 in hospital, i lived down the street!) my second was 4 hours(2 in hospital) and the epi didn't take, it was too late :( So I was really worried that my third would be even shorter and at home and my doc said that we could break my water in the 39 week and then if it didnt start labour i'd get pitocin to get it started. I decided t...

Re: Wanted boy#2 but I guess not :(

Hi, I'm sorry your feeling sad. I just wanted to say that I too am not a girly girl. I don't wear pink, never wanted to be a princess and my mom can also be overbearing(she means well though). I have a daughter and i just have to tell you...she's just the same as my boys. You dont have to buy pink things theres always purple, red, orange. Babybleux had a sweet pic of her adorable lil one in a gree...

Re: Mommies of Boys- question for you!

My first boy was a surprise baby, so no prenatals. With my second I took prenatal's and also because I don't drink alot of milk or eat cheese/yogurt i had been taking calicium (500 mg) for nealry two years before hand. And then I had a girl with prenatal's and calcium the same as my second son. I also always eat breakfast and do not eat alot of red meat before all three of my pregnancies. Goo...

Re: Interesting website says boob size may predict baby gender..

Not true for me, My boobs (normally 34 C) went to 36 DD with all three pregnancies and I had bbg. Does it matter how much you gain beacuse I gained almost the same amount each time which maybe led to the same breast size?
