We just had our 5th boy on Feb. 5th. It was a definite surprise hearing that it was a boy when he came out! My pregnancy was so different in so many ways and of course I just had so much hope that doing so many things to sway would help us get our girl! I am adjusting and of course just love our new little man...he's precious, beautiful, and healthy! I am totally blessed...just confused at God...

Thank you all!We are actually going to wait to find out until baby comes!...I know it'll be the hardest thing ever...but for so many reasons...I just think it's best for me to wait...plus we have never waited before and it feels really exciting and crazy!! ;)I have my ultrasound set up for mid Sept...I wil be nearly 19 weeks then... hoping to see a healthy little babe!!

PetiteFille-- my DH did still take LR during the abstinence period... in fact, the month before we made our attempt he was doubling up on the recommended dose (I should have put that in my sway above...) and then from AF-to our attempt, he was taking the regular dose amount (1 pill 3x a day I believe), Best wishes to you......

Thanks for all that info Babyblue! Good to know! [:-)] I had DH take 1-2 of those each day. Mountain... D-3 is supposed to be the best form of vitamin D to take... but I am not sure why. I have heard that from many different health care people...maybe it's the kind that can be most easily absorbed..? I am actually not on GD site...the other one I am on is diapers...

This seems to be a very common question on here and I think it totally just comes down to what makes sense for you and your body...and what you feel most comfortable with. There are many ladies on here with success stories using both methods... so do some research on here...read people's sway attempt stories and outcomes...chart your cycles/ovulation symptoms/etc... and then make the choice ...

We only used sylk the once during our attempt recently, so I don't have a lot of expierence with it... but I ended up using a little bit on DH before intercourse and it was pretty quick I guess...but we were kind of on "a mission" too.. lol [:D]

I am pretty sure I heard that taking iron doesn't sway and is okay for TTC girl... I was wondering at first as well...but am sure I heard that it is okay [Y]

I don't know how much cranberry is too much...but wanted to say that we can relate to taking A LOT of cranberry (dried and supps.) and my DH's Ph never budging from 8-9... it was so frustrating! We just made our attempt this last month knowing we did the best we could with trying to lower it!

Hmm...I didn't think too much about how much I used of the sylk...I assumed the girly sperm would be able to be exposed to it?? I just used a little bit on DH before our attempt... maybe a quarter-size amount..?

I don't have any answer for you...but wanted to bump this up because I also used sylk for our attempt recently! I know there were other successful sways that I read that did use sylk... but I wonder what others say too...
I am in my 2ww now... so not sure if we conceived or not this cylce.
