Hey New Mommy!
How are you??? Glad to see you back. You're lucky you haven't gotten AF yet. I got mine back at 4.5 months! That was hard. It's great to see you're thinking about trying again. Hope all is well.

The earliest we try will be in Sept. of 2010. I need to enjoy having my body back for awhile and I want to nurse for at least a year. I'm excited at the same time I have to admit I'm dreading the nit-picky-ness of trying to sway. Truly, if we go for a fourth I'm not going to stress about the gender. It really backfired on me with # 3. I was so stressed in trying to do...

Thank you so much for the article! I'm hoping that she is just striking. It's incredibly frustrating. I have noticed that when I try to nurse her she is more focused on the distractions-sisters, tv, dogs. I will try to nurse her in a quiet room without distractions. It's been happening for at least 3 days now. She also has been grabbing at her ear-maybe she does...

Help! I feel like my baby doesn't want the boobie anymore! Every time I try to get her to latch on she turns away. Even if I give her a bottle, she just bites it. This never happened with my other two. How can I get her to latch on and stay on? Has this happened to anyone? Is she done?

It won't be a surprise for my family. MIL already told me she just knows she's going to walk through our door one day and I won't even have to tell her-she'll know! Ultimately, I think I will surprise myself the most that I actually conceive a 4th! I feel like I am going crazy with 3! So is it a secret? No, most people know I'm contemplating a fourth.

Congratulations!!!! I definitely think that the pressure of swaying sometimes can break a sway-at least in my case. Ovulation timing certainly does work for some women, but others it doesn't. Like you, all my girls were conceived before ovulation. I guess if it happens again, I certainly will wait until after ovulation to see if it works!!!

I tried swaying with my last one and everything was the opposite for me. I think I became so obsessed with having a perfect sway that I got the opposite. So this time, I'm keeping it simple! I'm also going to let the sex be a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be happy if I have another girl. I've sort of developed an empathy for familie...

Hi ladies,
I've been off the board for quite some time enjoying being mommy to my 3 girls. Ironically, I thought I was done, but I can't believe how many people are encouraging me to go for a fourth!!!! Especially my MIL! I think she wants me to have a son. Honestly, I think four is better just because of the whole 1 odd one out. Anyway, I'm going to try and hang out...

Hi ladies!
I was just curious if anyone has some suggestions for teething. My little one literally tries to put her entire fist in her mouth. She wants to bite on everything, EXCEPT the teething ring, teething keys, teething freezes......any suggestions on what else I can try? Someone told me about these dissolving sugar tablets. Has anyone heard about these? I never...

How? How do we move on and give up on the gender we long for? I love my girls dearly and I wouldn't trade any of them for a boy. But I would be lying if I said I'm not contemplating number 4. I just know realistically it would not be a good idea to have another. My DH is 51 and he will be quite old when they are in their twenties. I also noticed a change in DH a...

Great read! I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't breastfeed. I wish my mother had breastfed me, but she was too concerned that her boobs would have sagged. News flash mom, that happens anyway. It's called aging!!!

I asked my pediatrician today if what I eat affects baby. She's been horribly gassy. He told me the only foods known to cause problems for babies are peanut butter, orange juice and chocolate. Does anyone feel babies are affected by what we eat? Any suggestions on how to avoid extra air taken in while nursing? I just can't figure out why she's getting so gassy.&...

Hi all!
How is everyone doing? Gianna is already out of newborn clothes. I was staying with my mom for a week and we started giving her a bottle. She drinks 6 oz in one sitting. I found that when I nurse her she's getting a lot of air and becomes very gassy. SO SAD!!!! It hurts when they cry in pain. So I bought some Born Free bottles (I love them!!!!) an...

I have it too. It might just be that time in our life. Is DH absolutely opposed to more? I grew up with two biological sisters and 3 was always and odd man out. I would like 4 just to keep the balance. You're not alone! I think having a sister for your little girl is a great idea. I love how my girls are the best of friends already.
