With my first pregnancy, they said at 13 weeks boy. Circled the part and everything. Same at 17 weeks. At 20 weeks, they said oops its a girl. I have a beautiful 15 month old girl, and what seems to be another one due in May. You definately still have hope for a girl! GL

I had my first trimester screening (12 weeks)and then the second screening at almost 18 weeks. Am i suppossed to have another one at 20 weeks, or is that the same as my 18 week scan.

I just wanted to make sure this is a girl. They made a mistake with my first DD. Please let me know what you think. I will post a 2nd shot in another message.

This looks like the 13 week shot I had in my first pregnancy. They circled the wiwi and said boy. Same thing at the 17 week U/S. They were wrong. 20 week U/S confirmed girl. She was born Sept of 07.

tec says thinks pink but can't confirm. I am dying for more opinions!! The ultrasound with my first DD was incorrect the first 2 times (15 and 17 weeks) so i need reassurance.

I went for my 2nd attempt at a gender ultrasound. 1st time I was 15 weeks, they said baby looked like a girl but could not confirm, so to come back the next week. I went back at 16 weeks and they gave me these shots with this disclaimer- "we think it is a girl (hence the word girl on the U/S) BUT we cannot rule out a boy" they said there was a lot of cord in the way and that the baby did not open ...

Do you have the 16 week shot you can post? I would like to see how the mistake was made.

With my first pregnancy they told me not only at 13 weeks but at almost 17 weeks that I was having a boy. They even typed those words into the scan and circled the wiwi. Went back for an Ultrasound at 20 weeks (heart chambers) and the same tec said oops its definately a girl. It can happen. I have a beautiful little girl. This time around I had an elective scan at 15 and 16 weeks, both times...

My tech saw 3 dots and would not confirm (baby was not cooperating) but said she was pretty sure it was a girl. I was 15wks exactly. I am going back sometime this week to confirm. Holding out hope that 3 dots could still be a boy!!

This goes back to my previous post "do 3 dots mean girl?"I definately see 3 dots in your shot BUT does that necessarily mean it is a girl. With my first DD, the shot showed 3 very distinct lines, it looked like a hamburger, but 3 dots??? have you confirmed that this little one is a girl?

I am particiopating in a trial of a DNA gender determination kit. They take blood (prick on finger) then comapre the results with a gender scan. They gave me a scan at 15W0d. Tec said baby was not in a good position so she could not confirm BUT would call it a girl because she saw 3 dots. Is the 3 dot thing true? I have a beautiful DD and was REALLY hoping for a boy. From the nub shot ...
