Hi MyDream, I heard from someone else here that you also live in the northeast area and are doing a day 5 blastocyst embryo biopsy and then a fresh embryo transfer on day 6. I am looking at clinics in northeast area myself that offer this. Would you mind sharing what clinic you did this at and with what doctor and how ur experience was. I myself live in Maryland but am willing to look at neighb...

Hi,
I wish you the best of luck and pray you have your little girl out of this. I too want to do microsort but in summer of 2012. Let's see if it's available for family balancing by then. Have not considered Mexico until I read a few posts here. Does your doctor do IVF with ICSI ? I figured if it's so cheap there, then I would do IVF with ICSI and microsort and PGD. Anyway you can ask you...

Hey ladies I too will be planning to do PGD for a boy summer of 2012. Since I am doing this much later down the road, because presently due for my girl in Sept. And I am soooooooo glad someone finally asked about who is looking to do PGD for a boy because I too felt like everyone here was ...

Does anyone know or has tried day 5 blastocyst embryo biopsy to test for gender or euploidy (or number of chromosomes), and then a fresh embryo transfer on day 6? How is this supposed to be more successful compared to previous protocols? Any feedback would be appreciated. Also I live in Maryland, does anyone know of local centers performing this?

Ilovemykids thanks so much for the feedback. Loved reading your blog! How you managed to get down all that information while going through such a stressful process is beyond me.

Hi I just wanted to know if anyone has gone through microsort with a husband with low sperm count and motility. I am looking to hopefully go through a third IVF cycle in summer of 2012 when hopefully MS will be available for family balancing. If so, my concern is that my hubby also has fertility issues, and whether that's going to hold us back from doing MS? I'm wondering if he should maybe hav...

Well I was one of those that was praying for twins both with my first and second IVF cycle. I had a girl with my first, and presently am expecting another daughter. :) But I think initially some of us want the twins/multiples because then we won't have to do this again. As you know this is a very stressful process....and I just felt if I had two right from the beginning I wouldn't have to do th...

Hey Bracam....hard to tell but it looks like a girl. I am expecting my second girl and we had an US at 13 weeks....well let's just say she made it very obvious she was a girl. :) What did the sonographer tell you?
