Went to the doctor today and she asked me to come in for induction @ 6 am tomorrow (02/16). I will finally get to hold my little girl. [:D][pray] Please be praying for us! I will update when I get home.

thanks Tambo... I guess I just needed to hear someone else say that they thought it was out of line too! I feel like a hormonal emotional mess.. and I have a feeling that Monday will not make it any better... because I am sure that instead of giving me my induction time, she will tell me she can't do it until the next week...

I apologize in advance for the vent, but this just seemed cruel to me. Last week- dr told me that she would strip my membranes this week to see if we could get things moving along. I am A- ... and a complete needle phob. It seems like pregnancy is just a reason for them to turn you into a pin cushion.On a brighter note though both of my sons were also Rh- so I didn't have to have the after birth Rhogam shot.

I believe there are alot of women here who can understand that feeling of desperation for a daughter. This is my 3rd and last pregnancy and was my last chance for a girl, so it hasn't been that long since I had that knot of sickness and dread come over me. And at my ultrasound... I had tried so hard to prepare my self for a boy that I couldn't believe it when the tech said girl. ...

I don't think it is a bad sign, only a sign that things are different this time. Things (dialation and effacement) can happen a little at a time over a period of weeks, or they can happen all at once. There is no set way it has to happen.

I'm not that dialated, but I have had the bloody show, lost my plug and all the classic "labor is coming" symptoms, and I even had contractions that went from 8-10 minutes to eventually 3-5 minutes only for them to stop and leave me a mess cause I was sure I was gonna meet my little girl. I am having a girl.. but it was definitally neon yellow at the begining as a note though... I don't think it was from the prenatal vitamins. I couldn't take them because they made me throw up everytime... so on my dr advise I just took flintstone vitamins.
