Hello Ladies! It's been a bit of time since I have stopped in, and you all were such a great support system after the loss at birth of my daughter and during my consequent twin pregnancy. The twins Starling and Phinaeus will be 3 in a few weeks. I want to ask a favor if you all can stop by American Apparel and vote me a 5. They are extending their sizes to XL, and I am a plus model.

I had strong intuition that I was going to have twins or be associated with twins, as a matter of fact, I was a member of this site and I had found out I was pregnant and had seen quite a few ladies saying they found out they were having twins and I just felt a strong connection to their twin icons. Then I had a dream I had a baby with a penis and a vagina. So yeah, heavy signs.

I believe I read somewhere that girls more than boys are born from multiple births. Twins, triplets, etc. . .
I would guess better than 50% for at least one girl. That's what's super exciting about fraternal twins. Fingers crossed!

The babies are still on the small side. Phinaeus (boy) is about 10.5 pounds. Starling is about 12-13 lbs. They were born a little over 5 lbs. They are 4 months old.

I was admitted to the hospital at 33 weeks and had the steroid shots twice upon arrival. The babies were born at 34 weeks 6 days. The shots are done as a precaution. No problem with anything as far as me or babies concerned. They came out breathing fine.

I had a feeling I was having twins before I actually found out.
It was confirmed at 6 weeks- viable diamniotic twins.
Very unbelievable once it was confirmed.
This life is more spiritual and amazing than we think. . .

DS#1 gained 53 lbs- baby weight 8lbs 11 oz
DS#2 gained 28 lbs baby weight 7lbs 13oz
DD#1 gained 34 lbs baby weight 7lbs 7 oz
Twins b/g gained 32 lbs, boy weight 5lbs 4 oz girl weight 5lbs, 8 oz
The first pregnancy I was the heaviest for weight gain and the heaviest baby.
