Hi there,
I also in Ottawa and we were looking into IVF PGD in May next year and we are also going to Syracuse (CNY) I hope they are good but that's good that they were able to re-write some of the perscriptions and you were able to do the Ultrasound in Canada
So nice to find you ladies on this site.

Yes I am doing another Ultrasound 3D at week 30. Hopefully we will find out for sure. My husband is saying don't keep any hopes it to be a boy. I don't know it is very hard to accept the fact that we tried everything that in our control.

I had my ultrasound at 22 weeks and told i was having a girl we were really hoping for a boy we were upset and forgot to ask her how sure she was about the gender. Because for a while she was trying to have the baby open up the legs.
Could Ultrasound results be wrong?

One in Rochster said they do not do IVF/PGD for Gender selection.

Hi there guys, I am also in Canada and looking into IVF/PGD in May 2009; We are considering CNY in Syracsue and I heard some people on this site have gone to this clinic. I am not sure about the success rate though.

Thank you so much for your reply. I think they will not refund the PGD and the medication cost but the part of 20k for IVF will be refunded if after 6 cycle you do not get pregnannt but medication and PDG you will have to pay each cycle that is extra. I do not have any medical or fertility issue i have two daughters and would like to have the third child but a boy to balance my family and wan...

We are looking into IVF with PGD closet location to us is Strong Fertility Center in Rochester which is about 4 1/2 drive drive not that bad they charge $15000 for IVF plus 3500 for PGD and IVF is guarnteed or refund of 85% if no success
Then there is CNY fertility center in Syracuse they charge $20,000 for 6 cycles and money back if not successful. We are looking into this next year in late Apri...

HMM…Just thinking I hope the LH is not effected by all the baking Soda drinks I having every day because that is in Urine.
Should I be stopping to drink BS water close to ovulation at all
no temping only using OPK kit. CM doesn't look like to be fertile because usually my cervix is open around ovulation and have egg white...it suppose to be strechy just before the ovulation none of thos...

Tamara, I am confused now and stressed out because; I’m 28 days cycle and first day of my period was 3rd September and I always ovulate on cd14 but I just tested LH with midstream strips and it shows both the test and the control lines are almost the same color. In the morning at 12 I used the ovulation test strip (those tiny one) and I though may be it’s cheaper and may not have worked corre...

Tamara, Why only 4 days?? We BD on Tuesday. And if our attempt is Sunday or Monday it will be abstained for 5-6 days depending if attempt is Sunday or Saturday.

Tamara, I most likely will be ovulating on cd14 which is Sunday Sep 16 +24hrs would be sometime Sep 17.
