Looks like a boy to me!

Another tricky thing is that the doc or tech doing the scan can center the sac or move it to where they like to see/measure on the screen. That's why it's important to ask where in your uterus the sac is located. Maybe it also just wasn't right for you - but I know my doc moves it around so I have to ask him to know for sure! And...to make it worse, I bel...

If it makes you feel better, they found the same thing for me at my scan yesterday and told me it is really no big deal and that they're required by law to disclose when they see it and they hate telling women about it because it just worries them unnecessarily. They said to take your downs risk from the bloodwork/nuchal scan etc and just multiply it times two. So example, mine was 1/4900 an...

My first son was posterior top right, clear as day that baby was top right in the uterus at my early u/s, exactly 6 weeks. This baby, second boy due this Nov, was just slightly right of center at 6w5 day ultrasound so I figured another boy but was hoping Ramzi was wrong. Confirmed at my anatomy scan that this little guy's placenta is right anterior. BUT - the study was done at 6wks even and the...

Boy #2 - saw him in all his glory today!! I guess my nub shots were just too early to tell.

Koral, sorry just saw your post from the other week. Thank you, I'll have to find that post/link and check it out. If this is another boy then maybe in a couple years we will try something like microsort for a 3rd. It's tough b/c I'm a high risk pregnancy and on medication as a result so we were hoping to be done after this one. We go tomorrow for the anatomy scan - I'm pre...

Yeah, there are so many things that can confuse the whole theory - aka - transvaginal (you flip it) or abdominal (no flip) and timing. Interesting that yours was in the center! That's tricky! Mine was just barely right of center although the baby implanted on the far left side of the sac which makes mine tricky too. I got mainly girl guesses on the nub shot I posted but the...

I know this thread is quite old but I wanted to clarify for anyone who finds it searching - if you read Ramzi's theory on obgyn.net (search Ramzi in the search box), you'll see that his study was done at exactly 6 weeks gestation for all the pregnancies he studied. The placenta can and DOES move, what is important is not where it is when you have your anatomy scan done at 18 or 20 weeks, b...

I think the angle the 3rd pic is taken from is a little different - it's almost looking down more onto the baby so it's harder to see. I think you are having a boy! :)

So sweet! It makes me feel better about my DS2 on the way.

Hard to tell if that is the nub! If it is, it would be boy-ish but I hope it's not and you get your little girl!

If that's the nub and not the left leg or anything else then I'd say boy

Guessing girl based on the size/shape even though it does appear to angle up a little. Looks just like another girl shot I saw where most guessed boy and it was confirmed girl at 18 weeks.

Just realized that completely doesn't answer your question. It does limit the number of clinics to choose from though. I'll follow this thread as I'd love to know too.

I think you're right! I'm thrilled to see that actually as IVF is a route I want to avoid but I so want a little girl to complete our family someday. Here's the link with locations: http://www.microsort.com/?page_id=865

I think I saw a thread awhile back saying that microsort was no longer being done. :( Either due to the fact that they are waiting for FDA approvals or because they decided not to pursue approval at all - not sure which. I'm in the same boat - due with boy #2 and would like to do something like microsort but not PGD in the next year or two. Good luck!!

This looks like my little guy's nub shot, I'd guess boy. I'm confused by what you mean by the 2nd pic showing body position, it looks like it's a different image altogether as the baby appears to have moved from pic 1 to oil 2? Looks like baby's spine is pretty straight in pic 1!
