Hi Jasmine 129, i am so sorry and fully understand what you are going through right now after having my failed ivf/pgd in August. It has been one of the hardest things i have ever had to get over and didnt think it would take me so long to get over but it is only now i am starting to sort out a second attempt. It will take time and it does get easier. Lots of love to you and take care. WANTSAMIRAC...

Hi 5GB, enjoy every minute, its is so perfect after 5 boys and it would have been my dream to have been lucky enough to get twins, but maybe 2nd lucky. I am so pleased for you and so very jealous...... in a nice way. Dont bother what people think as long as you are happy and at the end of the day you have got what you desired so much, so to hell with them. I dont personally think anybody will be s...

Yes jasmine, we are very lucky, i also had a very supportive Gp who did all my bloods and scans on the NHS and also was 100% behind , she even give me her private mobile number and asked me to text her every step of the way and also sent me reasuring texts. She also shed a little tear with me when she gave me my BFN. We are very lucky to have such supportive GP's because not many are like that. xx

Hi Lisvna, its such devastation when its a BFN, and i think it took me an awful lot of weeks to get over it, one day i would be fine the next day i would spend crying, i think its the lengths you have gone to and all the organising and timing and well just everything. I still cant start fully planning my next attempt as it has really sent my periods to pot, i am bleeding every two weeks and dont k...

Hi Tamera, yes we did the same, we had a lovely 3 weeks in cyprus with our 6 boys it was beautiful just a big dissapointment when we got home to a BFN. Its the quality not the quantity and also the size , they will scan you again on day 10 or so when you arrive in Cyprus , i needed an extra day of stims to get them to the right size, so dont worry too much about the quantity. I had 11 eggs at retr...

Hi Tamera, hi yes i know that North Cyprus is a different clinic to the Dogus i just noticed in one of the earlier posts someone had stated that you have to pay through your bank before the treatment starts at the Dogus , but thats not correct ,so just incase anybody out there is going to the Dogus i thought i would say that they only take cash in Euros on egg retrieval day. Its true you do have t...

Thanks for reply Danni, i felt like that when i got my BFN from the Dogus...... that i should be happy with my boys and not yearn for a girl, but like you i love my boys to bits and wouldnt be without them , they are my world and then i think to myself what is so wrong in wanting a little girl to complete our loving family. I am nearly 39 and cannot waste much time , so we have made our decission...

Hi Danni, just reading your post and having just had a failed IVF/PGD at the Dogus i can only reccommend that you fully research everything, I think i rushed into it without taking everything into consideration, looking at it now i havn't heard of any PGD success stories from the Dogus and coordinator hit and miss from the Dogus whilst your out there. I didnt have a very good experience with them ...

Hi Luisa, i totally agree with you it is very hard and takes a while to get back strong. Its true it is an awful lot of money if it fails but if it works a baby girl would be priceless, but it is such a gamble. Did you go to Genesis ?, I am going to have my 2nd attempt at the Genesis early next year...... i dont feel i can put this girl thing behind just yet, i have 6 boys and know for definate if...
