Re: Any lady with one ovary please please come on !!!!

This is hogwash! (or at least an OWT) [:)]I have only one tube and ovary as well (on my left side) and I have BBG and am currently pg with girl #2.  The ovary the egg is released from has nothing to so with baby's gender!

Re: Any lady with one ovary please please come on !!!!

This is hogwash!  (sorry, don't mean to sound mean....but it's just and OWT).  I have only a left tube and ovary (my right tube and ovary were removed due to an ovarian cyst that twisted) and I have BBG and am pregnant with girl #2.Don't worry- the side the egg is released from has 0 to do with gender!

Re: Having a terrible day... another scan in one week, hoping they will still say "girl"!

Please don't fret!  With my DD at my anatomy scan the tech said 80% girl.  I ended going back a month or so later for a re-scan (baby wouldn't give us all the spine shots we needed) and I had the exact same tech.  Of course I asked for gender confirmation and right away at the 2nd scan she said "yup, that's a girl" and I replied, "oh good, so it's 100%?"  She replied "Welllllll...

Re: June Due Date Buddies!

Congrats praying4pinkjoy!  I never thought to ask my little one's size at my scan but I believe I read that around 10oz is average for 20 weeks, though I imagine there is quite a range of normal.  My guess is you may have just caught your little lady after growth spurt, or perhaps the ultrasound measurement was off (I know they can wildly overestimate a baby's size fr...

Re: Triplet Update!

Congrats and thanks for the updates- we're all very excited for you!  As far as nubs, I'm no expert, but the one where I see a clear nub looks girlish to me!  No matter what, you've got three beautiful babies there!

Re: June Due Date Buddies!

Hi Ladies!    Just popping in to say "hi" and check in on the June 2013 ladies!  I wanted to add that I have not felt much movement either and was quite concerned as this is my 4th.  Today I had my anatomy scan and it was confirmed that my placenta is anterior (in the front) which apparently cushions the baby and makes it harder to distinguish movement.  So that may&n...

Re: christian names plis!

Since my girl is an Eden....I have to pick that as my favorite!   [:-)]   (she was almost Eden Grace, but we changed it to Noelle at the last minute since she was born close to Christmas!)  Other names we like are Mercy, Charis (the original Greek word used for grace in the Bible.  The "Ch" is pronounced with a "K" sound, so it's pronounced "Karis"), and Cha...

Re: June Due Date Buddies!

islandmeadow....I understand the pregnant mom/worry thing, but I know u/s can be wildly off in terms of dating so I wouldn't worry that baby is measuring a week behind.  I trust you know your body, but perhaps the egg popped out a little later than you thought.  Either way, if you were told not to worry I wouldn't worry (easier said than done, I know).  Praying for you! Also, I know ...

Re: June Due Date Buddies!

Hi Ladies!Glad to hear how well we're all doing and see some new faces.  [:-)]  I'm still here, was just unable to login for about a month.....I guess the site was having problems.  I had my first appt. with my midwife last Thurs. (I was 9w4d) and we heard a beautiful heartbeat!  She said my uterus felt about 15 weeks pg and she was suspecting twins. Recommended an ultras...

Re: June Due Date Buddies!

Hi Ladies!  Just wanted to join in.  [:-)]   I'm about 5w3d, putting my edd around June 10 as well.  Super excited for a June bug this time around!  I was a part of the Dec. 2010 due date board and loved going through pregnancy with IG buddies.  Hoping the site doesn't have any issues that prevent our group from flourishing!  Congrats to all!

Re: Why?

God's will.  I believe each one of us was planned before the foundation of the world.  I don't know why God planned for the particular family make-ups we see, but I do believe that in His sovereignty He has a plan and purpose for each life conceived.  We may (ok, will) not always get what we want, in the area of family gender make-up or a myriad of other situations, but I ...

Re: Bilateral hydronephrosis

Yes, we were told this w/ DS2 at a late-in-pregnancy-ultrasound to measure his size (my belly was measuring 3 weeks behind).  We were sent for a level II ultrasound and testing, but the baby's kidneys were measuring fine at the second ultrasound (of course, then they told me that his belly was too small which necessitated more tests and being bumped into high risk for the remainder of th...

Re: any who thought they wanted a third, fourth, but....

I say go for it!  Having just given birth to my surprise baby girl a week ago, I can say it (having 3) is more challenging at this point.  But the blessings are exponentially more apparent than the challenges!  I know we're newly into the "parents of three" thing, and my DH has been sooooooo helpful and my mom is here everyday (so I may be a special case in terms of the support...
