Re: Please, help me..Dr Lin or Dr Potter...

I have cycled with both. Hands down Dr. potter. Dr. Lin is very nice but Dr. Potter is way more experienced and has much better sucess rates. Good luck to you!

Re: 3rd cycle -- this might be the one!

That sounds promising. Did you use a first response early detection test? If not you should go get some. They are way more sensitive than the blue lined tests.

Re: Family Balancing

Yes me, I have three boys. Always got pregnant first month of trying. My youngest is 4. Did PGD for a girl, you can look at my signature. This has been a very difficult path. I always thought I would do one cycle and get pregnant.

Re: Why such a low success rate?

I really think it has to do with doing the biopsy on the embryos. I believe if you didn't do PGD and just did IVF, the success rates are much higher. Especially the fact most if not all are doing it for gender selection, not because we have fertility issues. It's just from what I have read, not from an re is telling me. I find it hard to believe they would be honest about it.

Re: GSN and PGD 2 Probe 5 Probe???

Im interested to hear what everyone says also. I am cycling with dr. P in a few weeks. I emailed Lori yesterday about the same question. Her response was 2 probe or gsn. Not 5 probe or more, the false positive rate is much higher. I am 31, dr. p thought 2 probe was fine, but now im having second thoughts on weather or not to do gsn. I think it depends on how many eggs I get. If 10 or more most lik...

Re: ? for those who have done GSN or aCGH

I did aCGH in janurary. I'm 31, it wasn't a great cycle. Got 10 eggs, only 4 fertilized Ended up with 2 normal girls. They were not growing great, put both in BFN. I think GSN and aCGH. Are similar and both great. I am probley cycling again in April, will only do 2 probe. I had they same outcome as before, but spent more money. Good luck to you.

Re: Dr. Brian Acacio in laguna Niguel?

Thanks tiny dancer for your response. I am really confused on what to do. I like that Acacio's office is smaller and not so busy. I liked how confident he was, also he was more prepared. I know Potter does more GS, but his office is so busy. I don't want to be another number. Personally I liked them both, but have concerns with Potter's office. But also want to get pregnant, this is my 3rd and p...

Re: trl.... any news on your beta?

Im not sure about the trigger shot. Why do you think that would be a problem? I was wondering more if it could be a problem with the embrologist. When they are performing icis. It seems like we should interview them not the RE. They really have the most important part of it all. Between fertilizing the egg and biopsying the embryo for pgd. Who knows what you are getting.

Re: trl.... any news on your beta?

I got 10 eggs, but my E2 wasn't very high. Only 3 fertilized. I was shocked. I was on no BC and was on follistim 225, menopur 3 viles, lupron for first 3 days. Last time I was on BC, long lupron, and follistim 425.
