I'm not sure...it looks quite angled for 12 weeks. I going to give a slight lean blue but I'm not much help on this one! Sorry...

Anything in the 11th week usually nulls the theory, especially if it looks more girly than boy. That could rise FAST! I think you're still at 50/50. GL. I hope it's your boy!

I agree. The nub looks girly here but if you have better ones, it's always good to look at all of them. Congrats!

My OB only orders NT scans at 13 weeks. He says you can rule out more neural tube defects because the spine should be completely closed in and the brain is developed more, ruling out anencephaly and other brain disorders. So, never had a scan at 11 weeks! :)

This is a really tricky angle. I am going with blue. It looks like it has an angle. One more week and this would be an easy call...hmm.. my guess is only a slight lean boy though.

I'm so sorry for your loss and lack of closure. I know all too well how that feels. We lost our son at 5 months of age, due to SIDS. There is NO explanation, to date, and never will be... We put him in his crib for sleep, as we did every night. I went to feed him 2 hours later and found him, not waking up. It never goes away. People will forget the ache and pain you feel but you never will. ...

Did your sister get any images to take home from the 18 week scan that might help? Otherwise, sorry, but there isn't much else to say about the previous pics.

I agree. It looks like a boy! Of course, there is a margin of error at this early stage. GL!

I think it depends on how experienced the person doing the scan is in sonography, boys and girls can be mistaken for one another, not just one way. It doesn't happen as often as it sounds, though! It looks like your tech did a great job. All 4 images are great GIRL shots! Congrats!

Honestly, I had both. One of my twins had a forked nub and most people here said girl but we found out later that it was a boy. I've also had a forked nub with my girls! Not sure if this helps! I think it's more the angle than the fork.

Same here! They are as close as can be! Your pics do look quite boyish. GL if you go for #4!! You sound great about it! :)

I just read the responses and I agree. Here is my confirmed girl at 15 weeks. Your nice nub shots remind me of my girl! Luckily, my tech knows the nub theory and told me, at my NT scan at 13wks that it looked very girly. Then, confirmed at 15wks with all different angles. Here is the one similar to yours!! SHOP!! Just keep receipts and tags on, just in case. Not that I think you won't use ...

At that gestation, this baby is a GIRL! Well, at least, I am quite certain.

I'd listen to your tech! My first thought, without seeing any responses and seeing your bub's nice, visible nub is GIRLY GIRL GIRL!!! I'll be surprised if you hear boy later on!! Congrats!
