This is a friend's u/s @ 12w. I am thinking there isn't a nub in this pic but wanted to see what you "nub experts" think.

Wish there would have been a thread like this last year!! It was about this time last year I was being told boy at 15w and went into a horrible depression, not being able to eat or sleep because I so desperately wanted a daughter. Thanks to this site I was able to post my pic from the horrible 3D u/s place and got all girl guesses from what that tech said was 100% boy. Funny how ...

I would guess girl since it seems to me there should be something sticking up from a side view or you would see the scrotum underneath by 20 weeks. Can't believe you had the patience to wait!! GL to you :)

Looks like a girl to me. My DD had a "boyish" nub still at 15w, just the clitoris protruding since it is such an early gestation. The nub in your pic doesn't look angled like it should for a boy so my guess is girl...congrats!

Definitely 100% boy. My 15w u/s of DD was completely different and the nub was parallel with the spine. Congrats on your 3rd little boy!

Thanks for the input. Just wondering at what gestation the nub is more accurate. I got a girl guess at 12w1d with my nub and she did in fact to turn out to be a girl but wondering if that was too early to tell too??

I have a friend who has a perfectly parallel nub but the u/s was at 11w1d so I assume that it was way too early to tell right? They already have 2 girls and are hoping for a boy so she is wondering if all hope is lost or if there is still a 50/50 chance for a boy??

Definitely a girl. Check out my 15w profile shot at the bottom of this page http://www.in-gender.com/cs/forums/t/224047.aspx?PageIndex=2. I was incorrectly told boy by an inexperienced tech and my DD is now 4 months old :)

Looks like a boy to me but it's not 100% so you never know. Sorry, I know that doesn't help.

Labor went well until it was time to push and her heart rate dropped to 60 bpm which sent the room into a panic. They were screaming get her out now with a vacuum or it's going to be an emergency c-section. I was terrified and upset so it made it hard to push but I was able to get her out in 5 min with the assistance of the vacuum. She came out face up which made it even harder t...

Glad you are progressing Plum! I just had my 40w appt and I am still 1-2 cm but I went from 0% to 50% effaced so that is good. Baby is still up high though, today at least. I could have sworn she dropped the last few days but doc said with a 3rd baby they can pop in and out over time so that may be why my contractions suddenly stalled?? I am still going to try the chiro ton...

Is it a cervix softening pill? I had that with DS2 but it didn't start labor for me unfortunately. Of course, I had absolutely no productive contractions beforehand so maybe it would work better if your body was a little further along.

Ugh, I had contractions for 3 days straight and now NOTHING! How is that even possible? I feel like the closer I get to my due date, the farther away I am getting from delivery [rofl]

My doctor showed DH where the ankle pressure point was a couple of months ago but cautioned us not to use it until I was ready to go into labor. I don't think DH would really know how to do it correctly so I am headed in tomorrow night and hopefully it will be the kickstart I need :)

I am also going to a holistic doctor on Wednesday evening who will use some pressure points to help labor along. It worked for his wife and he has done amazing things for me so FX!

Don't be too nervous about the induction. I was induced both times and it isn't all that bad. 1st labor took 12 hours on pitocin and 2nd labor only took 6 hrs. Based on the post in my other thread it sounds like your body is already preparing itself and so the pitocin will just help things along instead of starting from zero and working towards 10. Good luck to you!
