12 weeks is a little early and boy parts can still crop up after that point. Right now, I'd say a weak girl lean, tho.

It's one thing to abort a baby with Downs, T18, or other SERIOUS genetic disorders. I don't feel like I would personally, but I understand why someone else makes that decision and feels like it is logical. On the other hand, I think it's completely wrong to abort a perfectly healthy child because they don't possess the genitals you desire. We all take a chance when we conceive that we may or may n...

I had an elective 3d scan last week at 18w5d. I left with this picture and feeling confident it was a boy. Then I started reading all these wrong ultrasound stories and it's freaking me out. So, please convince me again, this is all boy, right? No chance of that being a girl?

Thank you everyone! I was 12 weeks in that nub shot. It's been two days and I'm still smiling from ear-to-ear thinking about it. Good luck, ladies! It's possible for us all!

Thanks everyone! I personally like Maddox the best, and I think DH is coming around to it (fingers crossed!). We've had Maddox picked out since before we started having kids, but now that he's finally getting his boy, he's questioning it.

So, I had an AWESOME surprise yesterday when I went from an u/s and BAM! Boy parts! I was so convinced this baby was a girl, I would've bet money on it. I've had two girls before, everything felt the same and I guessed correctly with both of them. All the old wive's tales said girl. Plus, although this pregnancy wasn't planned, we did a girl sway. I posted my nub and every single person said gi...

It was right about my first, wrong about my second. I tried other people I know who have recently had kids and it wrong for most of them. I think it's a 50/50 guess.

Wow!! That must be so heartbreaking! They thought my little girl was a boy for only a matter of minutes, and I remember how crestfallen and saddened I felt after even that really short period of time. Just remember, now matter how upset you are right now, as soon as that little girl gets here and is in your arms, you wouldn't rather have any other baby.

With my second daughter, the tech thought boy at first because of the cord. We got really excited for about 5 minutes, until he said "oh, wait. sorry." Cords can definitely look like boy parts at the right angle.

She's adorable. Love the zebra print! I feel the exact same way. I think God my boy sway didn't work, because I'd rather have my little girl over any DS.
That's the bright side of GD. It never lasts.
