If you love it, then use it. Names are such a personal thing -
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the name Ashton (for a girl - long story short - fell in love with the name from watching the North and South mini-series from the 80's) - but I probably won't ever use it because of Ashton Kutcher - he ruined it for me [:@] - on the other hand - I could fix the spelling?!?!?!
Anyway - my point is - u...

Congrats on your precious little man. I love his name. You are so right about 'time' - that helped me too in the latter stages of my pg with Evan. The GD isn't gone for me either - but I don't regret having him AT ALL!!!

YES!!! I would have gone for the 4th one again also. Yes, I'm having to start ALL OVER again! (My 3rd is 9 now) - sometimes I'm stressed, but it's so worth it to me!! Evan is a complete joy - even when he's being ornery. The roughest part for me is the volunteer work I do at my kids school - I've had to cut back because I try not to bring a baby into school during sch...

I like the Sims 2 also - my only problem is I always end up with like 10+ kids!!! LOL. My favorite tho is Zoo Tycoon - I love animals... I LOVE the Wii - the kids, dh and I love to bowl and we recently got a game called 'Carnival games' - it's a whole lot of fun!! I play Harry Potter and Sims Castaway on the Wii also... Some of my favorites are the Original Donkey Kon...

I totally agree with sunshine! NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE should be allowed to tell ME that I can't have one if I so choose. I respect those who are against abortion - that is your opinion and your personal belief - and I think you are completely right in having it - but I'm also right by having my belief that is should ALWAYS remain every women's CHOICE!!!

I'm sorry you're going through all of this. Most all of us here completely understand where you are right now.
And most of us didn't at times either, but I PROMISE you, it WILL happen - maybe not the moment you hold her - it may take some time.. but it WILL happen. Then you'll wonder how you would ever live without her... Since I found out I was having a 4th ds,...

Flava: I hope my DH keeps his job for a long time! And all of us in ig can do the same!
Mom2RJ: Please pray that my brother keeps his job long enough to find a new one. He is one of three people left in his office and it is looking bad. We believe that my husband's job is safe, but it doesn't h...

With my first, I knew early on that he was a boy. With my 2nd, when we would talk names, I always focused on the boys names. My dh would say "What about a girls name??" I replied "We don't need to worry about a girls name." - so I guess looking back I knew. With ds#3, I knew deep down, but didn't want to admit it. With ds#4, I honestly thought and FELT girl.

- I orginally wanted MS/IVF/PGD, but I'm also looking into MS/IUI because with the sort at least the odds are higher!
Hi Shel! I thought odds were better with IVF???
Can someone clear that up? What ARE the odds of getting PG with IUI versus IVF?
What I meant was with the sort the odds are better than 'swaying' - sorry ...

Saggy - My dh and I are also considering MS/IUI at GIVF - I live in Va Beach so it seems silly to travel to CA for me too - I orginally wanted MS/IVF/PGD, but I'm also looking into MS/IUI because with the sort at least the odds are higher! LOL. I don't exactly know if I want to put my body through the IVF stuff - my body has been through ALOT and I want the least amount of 'trauma' pos...

I swayed for a girl also - got my sweet baby Evan instead.... Dh and I are going high tech for a girl next time... I'd be ok with another boy - honestly because I figure the worst that'll happen is that Evan will get a little brother - so we're trying to decide between MS/IVF/PGD or MS/IUI - I don't want to sway again because at least with the sort, IUI gives us better odds IMO.... &nbs...

Sweetie - my dh said the same thing when I was pg with Evan and even after he was born - he was determined NO MORE - he was content with the 3 we had and only agreed to try for a 4th because of the 'swaying' ... He eventually saw just how important it is to me to get a dd, and I think he finally gets it.... He even started a 'girl' fund for going high tech. Don't let what he says right...

I get a pit in my stomach every time I think about what peoples comments will be if this is another boy. "Well, we’ll love him anyway." (No sh*t) "I guess you just can’t have girls." "At least he's healthy." etc . . .
I get 'what, you don't want a girl???' all the time... I really hate 'people' sometimes.

I'm with ya.. my dh loves to cook - he does most of the cooking in the summer because he will grill just about everything.. The hardest thing for me is the deciding.. it sucks when you don't have a 'taste' for anything in particular.
I know what you mean - we do 'summer' cooking and 'winter' cooking. I do alot of the winter cooking - which is the 'heavier' stuff - roasts, spa...
