Re: Can you catch H1N1 again?

No.  This is the reason the older population is NOT getting H1N1--because it hit in the 70s (I think it was the 70s, could be off on the dates though) and they got it then and have immunities to it.

Re: Any realtors here? I have a Q for you. Please help!!!
just make sure that selling the house is in your best interest right now, you know?
Yes.  We need to get our names off the house.  We are currently renting it out and we need to rid ourselves of it's "baggage".  We actually paid $216,000 for it and put $90k down...kicking ourselves for that now.  But it is what it is.  I now want to ...

Any realtors here? I have a Q for you. Please help!!!

I have a home here in SW Phoenix.  I have about $125,000 that I owe (1st mortgage).  I also have about $35,000 for a home equity loan.  I know that I can't sell the dang house for $160k (+ realtor fees) but I so desperately want to get rid of the house and get it out of my name.  DH and I were talking and wondered what we would have to do to just "transfer" the monthly payments...

Re: What WIGGLES video should I buy?
Wanna know what I do.....watch Wiggles with him on YouTube
Dh made Kaylee a playlist of several Wiggles songs on YouTube--thought it'd be an AWESOME idea, and for most kids it would be, but my little troublemaker can't keep her hands off the keyboard of the laptop while watching it.  Always starts clicking around and bringing up different windows.

What WIGGLES video should I buy?

Ok.  Kaylee LOVES the Wiggles.  It's all she ever wants to watch. I have one wiggles DVD that I bought on Ebay and it's a great one.  Prior to that I bought their new DVD "Wiggles Gone Banana's" and we both hate it.  It's lame and boring.  I dont want another video like that.  So, for those of you who have Wiggles DVDs, can you please offer suggestions to me of which ...

Re: My 5 yo ds is always in others' faces...why?
I don't think it's a disorder....kids aren't born knowing our societal "personal space" rules, these are taught/learned behaviors. My 4.5 yr old is still learning in this area too. It's even harder as we've spent time outside of the USA lots where people don't have such personal space issues as Americans, so she'll reach to hold other kid's hands and stuff like...

My 5 yo ds is always in others' faces...why?

Ok.  I am convinced that my ds #2 has some kind of disability(ies).  Not sure what yet, but I think we are FINALLY in the right direction of finding out and getting him help.  My first and most obvious concern for him is his motor skills, especially his fine motor skills.  But at least I know that's what is the issue, much easier to look for help when you know what it is you ...

I would stay far from the Swine Flu vaccine.  I really don't care to be the one testing out all the ill effects.
Did the towels sell for $13?
Yes.  It was a "buy it now" and s/he bought it with all the $$$ terms right in front of him/her.  I dunno...maybe s/he didn't see the $7 shippiung option?  But it was right there?!?!?!  Uggggg.  Annoying.
Reading it myself, I translate it as, they don't want to pay for shipping the price that they are paying for the towels. Good luck!
Ha! Do you know spanish? Can you please translate?

El precio es de 13.99 x2 toallasi 3 de envio. No estoy deacuerdo que cobre casi el doble por gestiones de la tienda. Finalmente no me interesa. Una estafa!!!!!!     I sold 2 swim towels on ebay and the buyer requested an invoice and included the above message.  I kinda take it that they don't agree with the price--but not sure of the exact message. TIA.
Put on the Disney channel or get a DVD!
Just DONT buy their newest DVD "The Wiggles Go Banana's"  That was the STUPIDEST DVD the wiggles had ever made.  We got it for Kaylee's bday and even she said, "I dont like this movie" and she turned off the TV.  I bought on of the older DVDs on ebay and it's playing ALL DAY LONG!!

Re: Neither of my boys watched the presidential message yesterday...

We won 4 tickets to Wiggles live a month and a half ago.  Had awesome seats.  Kaylee and Alyssa had never seen them (tv, movie, etc) before.  Since then Kaylee is ADDICTED.  I have Wiggles songs stuck in my head (Monkey Dance is one of her Favs).  The yellow wiggle came into the audiance and Kaylee got to shake his hand, thus the reason he is her fav.  Yesterday ...

I've worn pajama pants to WM--nothing fun about running to the store at 1am to grab a child, whose burning up with a fever, some motrin.

At what age should kids start wearing under arm deoderant?

Ds #1 keeps asking for deoderant.  Honestly, I don't care, but dh is worried you have to be "12" to use it.  What do you girls think?

Re: Neither of my boys watched the presidential message yesterday...

Agreed...for the most part...except the students weren't being given the option to be excused from watching the broadcast.  Regardless of whether people are right or not, every parent has the right to decide what their child will or will not watch.  Again, I have NO problem with my children watching the message--but I find it silly to do it during instructional time at school when ...
