The shot is still recommended unless it was confirmed to be H1N1 which means the positive rapid swab would need to be sent to state lab to confirm the H1N1 strain. If it was not confirmed that way then they should get the shot.

It would probably be a good thing for a girl because it would dry up the seminal fluid... I am guessing though. That's if it is the same med listed in the FAQ for ttc a girl.

K-dogg, thanks for the info! But wondering if they mean extra folic acid in pregnancy, or folic acid in prenatals in general?
It was for 800mcg of folic acid total.

They aren't recommended because of the info posted above.

More nutrients, vitamins and minerals = boy
Less nutrients, vitamins and minerals = more girls
Multivitamins are not recommended with swaying.

I tend to use polls a lot because they are helpful to me and gather information quicker and gets more responses. Some people, actually a lot of people answer polls, but do not post.
So, I was wondering if there could be a separate Poll forum in the swaying area to gather info? That way people can reference it and it won't sink out of site so quickly getting even more responses.
Thanks

It could be the fluorecent lighting. I work in a clinic and there is a lot of that. Aussie - you would need to try to surround yourself with loads of negative ions for a girl to outweigh the positive ions (good for a boy). There is more explanation of this in the FAQ, but basically you would need things like plants, running water, rock salt lamp, etc.

Interesting. According to the first study 90% of the people who got cancer (lung) had quit smoking or were still smoking.

I am interested to hear what Missyslair thinks. She kind of baffled me with her situation.

Yeah, if you are on the boy diet you both should give it up. The goal is the minimize the calcium in both the CM and semen. Plus, dairy can thicken bodily fluids.

Here was the reply to my email:
"Thanks for your note. Unfortunately we are not able to divulge the amount of coral calcium in FertileCM as it is a proprietary formula. We can assure you it was formulated by an MD and fertility specialist and contains the amount of coral calcium deemed optimal to increase the production of fertile-quality cervical mucus. All apologies I can't be of mo...

I had that too when I was pregnant. It started at around 10-12 weeks for me too and lasted pretty much the whole time.

When I drink lots of drinks w/ aspartame, cm ph stays low (~4-5), but urine ph skyrockets to like 8-9!!!
The kidneys and the respiratory system both have compensation mechanisms that help compensate pH changes so this is why your urine changes like that - because the kidneys are releasing bicarb to balance the pH and it shows in the urine.

It actually doesn't specify how much coral calcium is in the FertileCM - has anyone ever emailed the company to find out? Or does anyone know?

hmm, just wondering as to why you said the women ttc'ing for a boy should take the extra FA...makes me think it's more of a boy friendly thing?
It's because high sodium/salt intake can deplete folic acid that's why you should take more on the boy diet. Green tea can deplete it too which is also on the boy diet.

I looks to me like you could have a girl. I hope it is your girl this time around! FX for you.
I should point out though that I tend to be more accurate when I actually see someone in person interacting and stuff rather than in photos.

I only have 1 child so far. An 8 month old DS. When looking at the "boy mom" and "girl mom" personality traits I am more boy mom. I really don't want to post my pic because I am a chunker, but I did anyway. [:$] I am big, but mostly muscular.
