I just went through my first cycle at 28 and it was thankfully a huge success. If you talk to an RE they might recommend that you do it sooner rather than later as your ovarian reserve can decrease past the age of 35 (I think). Although, I wouldn't put too much stock in these stats until you get your pre-cycle testing done. They will give you a much better idea of your chanc...

I've just started feeling movements this week. I just love it! It's usually when I am sitting at my desk working then all of the sudden I feel a little tiny kick - it's just so cute. I can't wait until they get stronger and my dh can feel them too.

Its number 2 for us. Kinda worried about going from 1 to 2, I hear that its a tough transition.[worried] Very excited to have another little one in the house though!

As Christmas is approaching, I've been wanting to make a new bow as a tree topper. Does anyone out there know where I might find good instructions on making those big loopy bows? TIA!

My story is very similar to Steffani's, but I didn't get quite as many eggs in the end. Before ER, they found 6 follicles. At ER, they got 6 eggs. All 6 were mature and all 6 fertilized (we used ICSI). I was a nervous wreck, but ended up with 4 girls, 1 boy and 1 undetermined. We transferred 2 girls (the rest didn't make it to freeze). I am now 15 weeks pregnant...

As for the name I had picked out, it really didn't suit the little man once I saw him on the screen...funny how that happens huh? I'm now leaning towards Archer, what do you think? I'm going to put it in the babynames section after DH and I sit down and figure out if he can live with it or not. I swear he is so frusterating, he really doesn't like anything at all...

I absolutely know what you mean. The entire time I was pregnant with DS, I complained about the boy names and that there weren't any that I really liked. I had a girl name picked out with my DH and it was so easy, but trying to figure out a boy name was torture. We were in the hospital delivering the baby when we finally picked a name! Now that I'm finally having a girl, I ...

Let me start off by saying I REALLY like the name. I think it's sweet and girly. BUT I just wanted to add that I have a good friend that was born on Christmas so her parents named her Noel. She HATES her name - I mean really embarrased by it and hates to talk about how her bday is on Christmas and that's how she got the name. I don't think this always happens; sh...

I had a 3 vial pack. Those 3 vials almost lasted from ER to 11 weeks. I ran out just before I was able to wean. I think ER is about 3.5 weeks in, so that would mean each vial lasts about 2 weeks. Does that sound right?

Way to go on finding a set you like that's within budget! For me that's the hardest part. With this baby, we are using my DS's nursery furniture and are buying him a new big boy set. Wow is that stuff expensive! I've been so afraid to buy this baby anything. I finally broke down and allowed myself to buy a few new bottles and some newborn socks, but that's it so far. ...

I am so glad I'm not alone! If anyone comes up with any tricks, let me know. I hope this subsides as the baby moves up (but that will probably just make it worse) [:P]

I feel like I'm in my third trimester already. This is rediculous! Whenever I eat even the smallest thing, I feel so full I am going to be sick. Anyone else have this problem? It is really frustrating.

I definitely don't have a bump yet, but its getting there. I look like I had a big lunch. I'm still in my regular clothes, but I can tell I am going to need maternity pants soon (within the next week or so). I did this with my son - didn't gain any weight until almost 20 weeks, then BAM I gained like 6 pounds in a month.

i will be doing my elective scan at 15w 5d. I did one at the same time with my ds and it was pretty obvious to me, so i think 15 weeks or close to 16 weeks is safe. what were you thinking?

my nurse had me draw progesterone with the 22g and give the injection with the 25g (I was more than happy about this since it's a thinner needle-although sometimes you do have to push a little harder). I only used the 18g to draw and 22g to inject for the estradiol. HTH

I am 12 weeks along and got the H1N1 vaccine last week. Don't worry - I've had no side effects. It was definitely the right decision for me. I don't know if you read CNN.com, but there is a video on there today that shows a woman who got the swine flu when she was 27 weeks. The poor thing almost died, but lost her baby in the process[:(]. She ...
