Re: He's finally here!

Thank you to ALL of you for your posts.  I have finally made it past the hormones (well mostly) and have been on cloud nine watching my older two enjoy their new brother.  Except for sleep deprivation Danny really is the perfect addition to the family!!   Hugs to you all, I  hope everyone's dream of a family comes true!! He's finally here!

Well we wanted to be surprised, but I think I knew in my gut the whole time it was a little man.  I have fallen instantly in love and he definatley is the cutest NEWBORN that we've had- but of course I think all my guys are cute!!! I was right  it was better for me to find out when he was born- worst labor ever, so recovery has been tough- but I have noticed I am avoiding interacting wit...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Well I am on the schedule to be induced this thursday- the 2nd.  I am fine with this but I can't believe that in two days all of this wondering and craziness will be over.  BTW the baby's heart rate was 160 on Monday- just to screw with my head one last time!!! [:P]  Thank you to all of you who have given me support through this pregnancy, it's been so nice to just let it all hang o...

Re: 39wks and getting anxious about finding out....

Random,   I am right there with ya girl- except I have two boys and my surprise is coming at the latest next Friday.  When I stop to think about MY feelings about a third boy it is hard to even touch them, because I am so wrapped up with SIL (brother's wife) who is secretly wishing I have a boy, MIL who never had a daughter and has no granddaughters and wants one desperately, and my si...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

You all have been so great!  I had an appt. yesterday and ofcourse, almost 39 weeks and the kid is 152  jeez if it could dip just once I could get my brain off this wivestale.  I totally agree that boys are just as great as girls - they are all I know anyways -  I think at this point I just need CLOSURE!!!  And I am getting it next Friday- they are going to finally induce ...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Danyelroy-  thank you so much.  I almost emailed you yesterday because your posts always give me hope because every time you chime in about something it is similar to my pregnancy....uggghhhh you are so lucky that you know!!!  But if this is in fact a boy I know the best thing for me is to not know until I meet him!!! Anyways thanks again, I really am becoming a little bit opt...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Just an update I went to the OB yesterday and the heart rate was 154 and it was my usualy doc (last week I was just making sure I saw all five docs in the practice before d-day) and when I told him what last week's doc said about the heart rate he laughed and said that that is an old wive's tale and if that doctor is right maybe he will have the guy start picking his stocks for him!  I was so...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Ladies, I can't thank you all enough!  I am really excited to meet my baby (and since the doctor today disagreed with the doctor last week about indcuction it will be a WHILE until that happens)  and it means so much that you all understand wanting a particular gender but loving your baby no less no matter what.  It really just means the world.  Thank you for all the wishes of...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

I don't think that they know the gender, but not sure.  This was the first time I had seen this doctor (five in the practice) he was very nice but he better be the one who delivers now because he got my hopes up and they are going to need a lot more than an epidural to hold me down if he's wrong (I'm just kidding!)  Seriously this whole thing may be a good thing because I was 90/10 think...

Re: Made a total GD fool out of myself.... with update

First of all I agree with whoever on here said that you may not need medication BUT I do agree with your husband that you need to get to the doctors.  It just worries me that you are so soon after having your baby, your hormones could be completely out of whack (not excusing your out of whack "friends" at all for their horrendous behavior!) and I think that this is very painful for yo...

Re: Tomorrow is the big sonogram

Congratulations on your newest addition.  I hope you find the peace and support you need on this website ( and from supportive friends and family) as you prepare for your coming miracle!![:)]  My heart goes out to your hubby too. I know how much men struggle with this because they want to be strong, but they have dreams too.   I know you both will love him so much when he is he...

Re: why are people so insensitive

As a mom of two boys I have every rude thing in the book said to me, especially pregnant right now and not knowing, if one more person acts like I have an "illness" if this is a boy....some days I do feel envious of my friends with girls, but lately I also am developing this feeling of pride, like I am going through a war and making it ok.  My boys are not so misbehaved but they are physical ...

Re: Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Thank you so much ladies you definately brought be back down to earth- in a kind and supportive way!!  Sorry if my message was confusing, no we did not find out what the baby is, but my placenta is on the right and so it was easier to assume it was a boy.  Anyways I am excited that this one will be a complete surprise and only a couple of weeks to go.  I know my doc was just trying ...

Bit by the heart rate bug AGAIN

Hi Gals,  Had the dr. today and they did an internal. I am 70% effaced and 1 cm.  Said he will induce by 39 weeks, (last week of march) if I don't go because baby is so big.  So feeling good about everthing since I have been so uncomfortable and the end is near......and THEN out of the blue Doc says to me, "and it looks like a girl to me with this heart rate"  I said, i though...

Re: why are people so insensitive

I can totally relate to the insensitive comments.  That is another reason why I am glad we didn't find out (although at this point I would probably lie if we had) because people say the rudest things anyways like, "Oh I bet you're hoping with every piece of you that it is a girl!" and I think you would probably be even ruder right now if I told you it was a boy.... People just don't thin...

Re: My Pelvic Woes

Thank you Hopes, that is just what you've given me![:)] I can not let myself think this is going to last four weeks I will lose it!  Especially with two other kids to run after!!! I am definatley going to try the heating pad thing and hope for the best.  Now, if you could only instruct me on how to make a girl....[:D]!!!  Anyways best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy because ...

My Pelvic Woes

Hello my dear April Mommies, i am having a tough time.  Starting last night I am having these pains right in my groin like in my pelvis bone and they are shootig down my inner thigh.  AHHH!!!  I went online (I know stupid thing to do) and googled it and I really think it is Symphisis Pelvis Disorder which is a bunch of fancy words for "the baby is tearing the crap out of your ligam...

Re: Help! Should I find out or what till birth?

I struggled with this for my entire pregnancy, for those on here who know me I actually TRIED to find out at 30 weeks but they woudln't tell me because I hadn't found out at 20.  Point is it really was the best thing for ME.  I know myself and I know how badly I want a girl, but I also know that when I meet my babies I am so overjoyed that I won't suffer GD and from what I have read on h...
