My AF after stopping PIO was like about 6 days after my *non-transfer* day. The next AF took almost 40 days to come, with ovulation being 10 days later than normal, and AF about 10 days later than normal.
Does that help?
Same for me! My next AF was about 36 days (and I am ALWAYS 28 days exactly). Makes it so hard to wait. HTH!!

Yeah! One step closer. I didn't really ask many questions- just listened... I knew so much from IG that I didn't really have any questions. Good luck- how exciting!!

Actually, I'm doing this. I asked for a spefic date in January so my kids will still be on vacation. I'll go on BCP soon and then they just work backward from the ER date- so I think it can be done. Obviously, you would have to have all your pre-testing done first and the week that you are visiting would have to be a week when they are doing sorts... Good luck!! ...

I don't think so. I found IG when I was researching Microsort. I had read an article about MS and saved it for years until we were ready for another baby. I definitely know I wouldn't have ever tried PGD if it weren't for IG. I remember when I first read about it I thought- these women are crazy and here I am!!

has anyone been told what the implantation or birth rates are for each blast (one blast and/or two blasts) transferred for over 35 yr olds?
Well, I don't know if this helps... I'll be 35 when I cycle again and Dr. P told me on Tuesday- 45-50% chance of one blast implanting and 60-65% chance for two. I don't know how that changes when you hit the 38-40+ m...

Thinking about you Steffani... My ER was easy- like Michaela said- it felt like a nice nap. We drove to N. California the same day with no problems- I just napped in the car! Good luck! Can't wait to hear how many eggies you get. I think you'll have a nice surprise!!

But I thought you said he told you 45-65%?
No. 45-65% of an embryo implanting depending on number of embies that you have to transfer and quality of those embryos. 80% chance of having a least one embryo to transfer...
As for the Metformin- I don't think he's worried about egg quality- but just how many eggies we can get!! We have sperm...

Those sound like some unbelievable odds!
Really? Isn't that the same, basically, as saying 35-45% chance of a cycle working? I think those odds are about right based on surveys on this board.
It's so good to hear about this protocol working for others- thanks for the encouragement! I'm excited to be posting again and looking forwar...

Steffani, I checked my results and when I triggered my E2 was about 1900 and I had 12 eggs retrieved- so I think you'll be fine. If you have seven and do MS- you'll have a girl (or girls) to transfer, I'm sure of it. Good luck!!! I wouldn't worry about quality- my egg quality was fine despite extra days of stimming- those were two beautiful little (boy) embies- or so he said...

Thank you all for thinking about me!! I had my consult yesterday with Dr. P. It went better than I expected. Right after my failed cycle, I asked what he would do differently for my next cycle and he had said nothing, just up the stims from day 1. The more I thought about it, the more I wondered if I was over-supressed from the BCP/Lupron combo. As some of you know- when I ...

Steffani- Thanks for thinking of me. I think you're doing great. I would've been perfectly happy with my 6 eggs if I had used MS. Unfortunately, we can't, so I need more eggies!! I think you'll be fine and I'm so glad you decided to go ahead with it. I'll check in with you tomorrow after my consult!

When is your consult? Are you going to cycle again soon?
Steffani, Thanks for your answers. I don't get it... I keep hoping that things will go smoothly if I start out at 450/150, but I know that it might not change anything. I have a consult scheduled for Tuesday and I'm planning on January to cycle again.
Good luck and keep us posted. My f...

Hey Steffani- I've been following your story because I completely relate!! Well, I think I would go through with the IVF, but that is just my opinion. Did you start stimming this cycle on 450/150? I've been wondering if I oversupress on the BCP/Lupron combo also. I have a consult with Dr. P coming up to discuss that. Good luck on your decision!!
