Sorry, I didn't see this before. What I would do if you are worried about swimmers being able to get up there is BD and then lay with hips propped for a while and insert the Diva cup before you get up (have it on the nightstand before BD). Then get up and put the aci under the cup closer to the entrance to keep pH low. The aci-jel is great but it is pretty sticky...

MMM, positive opk means you'll ovulate in the next 24 hrs or so. Do you get o pains? I get them right when I'm ovulating. So for me this month I got a positive opk on cd15 and then o pains on cd16 so I timed my o+12 for that evening. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!!!

Nicki, I like your idea of dtd twice around O+12. What if you did O+6 and O+8 or something like that. If you get a little closer to o it should help. I would also dtd with external release for about a week before that to lower sperm count. Sorry about the BFN, I'll keep my fingers crossed for next month!

Generally for ttc a girl you want a 2-3 day cut off or O+12 for timing. I think it is best to only have one release inside of you beacause multiple days of dtd means the sperm are just piling up in the fallopian tubes waiting to jump the egg and high sperm count sways boy. Thurs AM to Sat is only a 2 day cut off so that's seems perfect for ttc a girl! The moon sign theory is actually for when the baby is conceived, not for when you dtd. When you do a cut off the sperm will fertilize the egg right after ovulation so the day of conception would still be Saturday.
