My clinic charged $3500 for 5 probe and used GIVF.

Let me clarify; GS is not a problem for them. GS with shared risk might be.

Don't quote me, but I'm not sure that's true. I seem to remember there being some, but I have also gotten some misinformation along my 3 years at this. Check out CNY Fertility (not that I'm a BIG fan) and Attain IVF. The GS might be the real problem.

If you want to talk about averages, I did IVF/PGD without MS and 100% of my normals were males. Too bad I was looking for females, but theoretically it should have been 50/50.

Hmmm...maybe it was somebody else then. I remember somebody saying something to the effect that once you have been on it for an extended period of time, it actually makes it harder for the embryo to implant instead what it was originally intended for.

I think it was Michaela who posted about this a while back, but can't find it. Anyone remember what it said?

When I first agreed to do 8 Boys Wanting a Girl, I was told it would only be in the UK. Once we started filming, they said they hoped to sell it in the US but nothing had happened at that point. I am (obviously) pro HT, and never hid that, however, Michelle said she is stopped on the street all the time, and I am not sure I'm up for that. I liked the anonymity of being separated from i...

Has been sold to the US and will air on Discovery Health next month. Not sure how I feel about it.

You will actually see "something" go into your uterus during ET. In fact, it was very clear during my first cycle and quite an emotional moment. During my last cycle, it was much less obvious and I actually do think it may have "fallen" out, but that's another story.

Unfortunately, many of us realize too late that this is a business FIRST and REs are making a ton of money on their word.

I guess in the end, the only thing they based it on was age, regardless of labs, etc.

IDK; this is such a tough one. I will be 42 in October. My FSH is 8.5 and my AMH was 1.3. I did 3 cycles from age 39-40, only after which, my RE told me I had only a 10% chance of success. It is a lot of money, but it's all worth it if it works. That's the Million$ question! I wish you the best!

As a mom of AMA, I really worry about carrying twins. My twin pregnancy was way more complicated than my singleton pregnancies, and I was only 28 then!
