Re: CNY fertility

Their prices may be unbeatable, but I don't know if we've had a single member come out with a successful IVF/PGD cycle, so do your research.  I am $25K in the hole with them and have nothing to show but my credit card debt.

 Thanks; what's up with that?!

Free Accessories

Not sure if this is like giving away ice in the winter, but I have loads of subq needles leftover, and I don't remember if they came with the meds or if I had to buy them separately.  Unfortunately, I only have a little bit of meds, and they are expired, but if the needles are of any use to any one, just let me know, and I'll send them off to you!

Re: Has anyone an update on MommyTwingle?

Currently fostering the most beautiful one month old baby girl; we've had her since she got out of the hospital at 5 days old. Crossing everything that we get to keep her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the only forum I can find.

Haven't been on in a while; are all of the other forums gone?

Re: Preparing for Foster to Adopt...

My husband and I were recently licensed and part of the process was actually setting up the room and providing photos of it for our future child.  When a child comes into foster care, it is usually a crisis situation and you could literally get a call and need to go pick the child/children up almost immediately. I would have anything ready that you can. Good luck!

Re: Has anyone an update on MommyTwingle?

Thanks for your good thoughts ladies, but we lost the baby at 9 weeks.  We have completely moved on to adoption at this point.

Re: Recommendations for family balancing clinics in NY???

See if anybody on ingender has had any success there before you spend any money.

Re: It wasn't high tech, but...

Thank you everyone! For some reason, not getting the updates on these posts so didn't realize there were so many.  Had another u/s today cause I've been having some bleeding for the last 3 days, but the h/b is still going strong, so they're cautiously optimistic.  Will keep you informed.

Re: Due Dates and Appointments

Due anywhere between 2/2 and 2/10; it keeps changing with each u/s.  Hoping for healthy!

Re: Has anyone cycled at REACH, NCCRM or RBA?

I did a consult at REACH and they nearly threw me out the door when they realized I was doing it for gender selection even though I specifically asked when I scheduled the appt.  It was a very uncomfortable meeting.

Re: It wasn't high tech, but...

 I am 42, have 4 boys, and did 3 IVF/PGD cycles back when I was 39/40.

Re: It wasn't high tech, but...

No, my DS#4 was the perfect girl sway so I gave up on that years ago.  Had totally given up on even being able to get pregnant anymore to be honest.

Re: It wasn't high tech, but...

Thanks Ladies; just when I had given up.  [HL] Doc gives me a 40% chance of m/c due to my age, but we did see a heartbeat, so we're just taking it one day at a time!

Re: anyone use CNY fertility centers

I didn't cycle again after those 3 cycles at CNY.

Re: miscarried both :(

I know how hard it is when you get so close you can taste it; thinking of you and promising that it does get easier in time.

Re: Older moms who did pgd

I started the first of 3 ivf cycles at 38 and, despite getting 18 eggs in my first cycle, my high tech journey did not end successfully. Nature has prevailed, however, because at 42 years old, I just found out that I am 6 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!! Hoping this turns out better than the technology did, but the point is, anything is possible. Good luck to you!

Re: anyone use CNY fertility centers

I did three cycles there several years ago without success and found out after the fact that they lied to me about my odds of success in the first place. The nurses are very, very nice, but I can't recommend the facility.

Re: awful news

Wow, I have not been on in a very long time and something brought me here today.  Perhaps it was a higher power. I am so shocked and saddened by this news. Please keep us informed as you get more information.

Re: She's gone....

Thinking of you; it's so hard when you get so close.  I know! I promise things will get better in time.

Re: CNY for GS opinion

I cycled there 3 times and have nothing to show for it but debt. If you are coming from overseas, I think you have much better alternatives. Good luck!
