Sounds like my life. My twins fight over EVERYTHING. Buying two of everything doesn't always help either, because each wants the one the other has - even if the toys are exactly the same! Drives me nuts!

So glad it's going so well for you! We're doing full-time cloth diapering too, and I love it! The tip I've been given for how to deal with the sticky poop they get when they start solids is to use a microfleece liner - the poop comes off a lot easier. If that doesn't work, I know a lot of Moms who use those flushable paper liners. We're still exclusively BF too, but I'm keeping t...

Your ds sounds a lot like my boys. When they wet themselves, they don't care - they'll just keep on playing! One of them seems to be finally getting it now, but the other one just yesterday did a full pee (not just a few drips) on my sofa! I think I need to get my whole house decontaminated when this potty training is done! [:S] I have a worse problem with poops. Both ...

We've had a horrible time with potty training. I managed to get one of the boys trained back in May, and it took only 3 days and was going so well...then Ryan was born, and in the confusion he somehow ended up back in diapers full-time. Fast forward several months, and they were resisting every effort to get them trained. They started a preschool where they were supposed to be potty trained, an...

I won't lie - having 3 kids under 4 isn't easy. However, we're starting to get into a routine, which I admit involves a little TV-time for my older boys while Ryan naps just so I can get some things done around the house. I've also mastered the art of bringing all 3 with me on my errands, though you should see the looks I get going through the grocery store with 3 kids stuffed into a cart! :)

Awww...sooo sweet. My 31/2 year old boys were sad when I told them that when they grow up they will be men like Daddy - they both said 'I want to be a woman just like you, Mommy!' ;)

Congratulations! Ryan's a little younger, so we have a couple of weeks left until he turns 5 months.

That's similar to Ryan - he started rolling from tummy to back really young too - but I think it was just because he's always HATED tummy time. He still hates floor time in general and much prefers the exersaucer or Jolly Jumper. I have a feeling he might be an early walker since he loves being on his feet so much - his brothers were walking by 10 months.
I'm just looking forward to when ...

I'm definitely waiting until at least 6 months to introduce solids - I did the same with my other boys.

Both DH and I are quite short, and come from short families, so I was surprised to hear Ryan's length. My other boyshave always been below the 50th percentile for height, and I think Ryan's height puts him in the 90th or something. Maybe wehave basketball player genes hiding in our background somewhere! [HL]We're still nursing on demand too - nothing but the best for my little ma...

I only realised last week that Ryan should be doing it soon. It occurred to me that since we have hardwood, the only time he ever gets to lie down is in his crib. I dug out our old foam tiles from the basement yesterday, and now that he has had a chance to practice Ryan is REALLY close to rolling over from his back to his tummy. He just hasn't figured out how to get his one arm o...

Well, I think it's very cute and unique. I especially love those bee snaps, and added detail of the yellow and black snaps. I'd buy a diaper like this perfect stitching or not, but then again, I'm a cloth diaper addict... [worried] As someone who can't sew at all, I am always in awe of people who can do things like this.

That is SUCH a cute diaper! I wish I had the talent to do something like that.... Do you sell your diapers or just make them for yourself?

I'm in Canada, so the brands I use are different. When I started cloth diapering, I thought I'd be a part-time pocket diaper only gal...but once I got started I couldn't stop. Now I'm using just about every type of diaper 24 hours a day, including prefolds! Right now, I have a mix ofPocket Diapers: BumGenius, Swaddlebees, FuzzibunzAll-in-ones: Monkey DoodlezAll-in-twos: Gro Baby (a system th...

I've been cloth diapering for 3 months now, and I LOVE it - I'm sure you will too. What types of diapers did you buy?I've never tried those wipes, but they look good. I made my own wipes out of old receiving blankets - I was happy to finally find a use for them! I make my own wipes solution out of water, olive oil and baby wash.

I'm curious to hear what other people have to say about your ds...we deal with aggression issues here, too, and as my boys get older I sometimes get worried that it's not just 'normal' boy aggression. Part of the problem here is that they're identical twin boys, so they have had to compete with each other for EVERYTHING since the day they were conceived. They are only aggressive ...

I'm glad he slept so well last night. Does he stay awake between 6 and 8 - I guess I misunderstood you before - I thought you put him to bed earlier, then woke him at 9 or so to nurse before. Maybe if you push that 6pm feeding to 7pm, you could just put him to bed then and avoid having to let him cry when you put him down. Or maybe I'm just confused...wouldn't be the first time! [:P]As...

No disrespect to nurses, because they work VERY hard and are often underappreciated...but I've had some bad experiences with snotty nurses in hospital too. Definitely trust your mother instinct and ignore her.

Are you going to get the H1N1 vaccine?[/quote] I wavered on it for a while, but in the past week there have been a couple of H1N1-related deaths from otherwise completely healthy kids here in Canada, so that decided the issue for me. Our city doesn't get the vaccine until next week - since my other kids are under 5, they're on the high risk group and got a...

We went through a horrible biting phase when the boys were 2. It was so embarrassing to bring them to swimming lessons when they had little bite marks all over their backs! They still bite occasionally, but most of the time now just pull each others' hair or scratch each other's faces. The joys of twins [doh]

I'm not planning to introduce solids until at least 6 months - that's what I did with my twins too. I want him to be exclusively breastfed until he's old enough to get the H1N1 vaccine, so he can benefit from every little bit of immunity I have to offer!

I know a lot of people believe in the 'dream feed' - where you wake your baby up before you go to bed to nurse in hopes he'll sleep longer. That sounds like what you're doing. It's never worked for me. I find he wakes up at the same time regardless of whether or not he nurses before I go to bed. In fact, all of his longest sleeps (7pm-4am) happened once I completely d...

Just curious - does he stay in bed after you get up for work? The only reason I'm asking is that if you're only putting him down from 9pm until 5:30am, that's not enough sleep for him. I think it's wise to always aim for a 12 hour block of night sleep for a baby (I still aim for that amount or slightly less with my 3.5 year olds too!). A baby who isn't well rested sleeps ve...
