Has anyone done PGD in Oregon? If so, what clinic did you use? We're looking to do PGD to both screen our embies and to do "family balancing".

I have had 4. I will have another, which is why I will to do PGD/IVF to ensure it's the girl we want because I'm sure 5 is my max due to health issues, I just can't risk it again after 5. We recently lost twins girls and I'm devestated. We didn't know the genders until after the loss.

Bumping this because I am also very interested in the results. It would be nice if people would reply saying if it worked or failed for them.

I was not told that, but I was told they expect my baby to be early (33, 34 weeks or earlier) because I have a past history of pre-term labor and birth with 2 out of 3 pregnancies. My last pregnancies is the only one who made it to 38 weeks. They said we'd never made it past 35. This baby is actually measuring really big and if they weren't sure of my ovulation dates they'd probably think my...

Thank you dear. I agree, I felt like the DVD showed a clear boy too and I even brought that up to the tech during that ultrasound and she said it was a swollen clitoris...but clearly 3 lines and labia, which she said again at 15 weeks. When I called to request a refund from that place they had the audacity to say my baby might have ambigious gender....as in confused gender. WTF?

He's all boy right? No hope left that the first 3 techs were right and he's a girl (how they thought he was a girl I have no freakin' clue)? 13 weeks 75% girl, 14 and 15 weeks we were told 99% girlHe's clearly all boy to me. 16 weeks.

Well, we had our level II ultrasound and it's a boy. Our fourth boy. I can't believe that tech was wrong not once, not twice, but 3 freaking times! I was so convinced it was a girl - how could 1 tech miss a penis 3 times?
I didn't think I'd be upset, but I am. I'm so sad. It's so final. This is our last child. I'll never have a daughter or a close relationship to her. My boys will all grow up, ...

Vendela, we didn't sway either. After all of our fertility problems and miscarriages, I think we were pretty lucky just to get pregnant (two blocked tubes). Maybe it is luck!? Indigo - It was a LOOONG time again. It took me forever to get pregnant.

Thanks girls! It's so nice to see all of the "old" and familiar faces. We tried to confirm our girl Tuesday, but the cord was between the legs! The tech spent 20 minutes again looking for me and still said 99% girl. She pointed out a "nub" that "could be a penis" but she said at this stage she doubted it was a penis. So, they invited us back again at 18 weeks to re-check the gender just...

We were told girl at 14 weeks 5 days - but I went back yesterday for a re-scan because there was a nub at 14 weeks. Yesterday, the tech said girl again, and said there was still a small nub, but nothing that looked like scrotom or penis. They asked me to go back once again at 18 weeks to confirm. The tech said 99% girl each time. I don't have pictures from yesterday (15 weeks 5 days) but the...

I called the ultrasound studio and spoke to the owner. She asked if I got a picture saying "girl" and I said yes, and she asked if it had 3 lines and I said no we never did see 3 lines. So, she said to come in next week for a free re-scan, so I'm going Tuesday. It'll be worth the gas money and the 3 hour drive for peace of mind. I'm hoping she stays a girl.

If the tech did tell us the wrong gender, should I ask for a partial refund or a re-scan or something? I mean, we spent 150 to have this done and drove 3 hours. I'm not at all pleased if we were told the wrong gender after all of that.
What a waste. Really.
What I'm confused about is how a nub at almost 15 weeks can be girly, while gender may look or suggest boy? I thought by 14 weeks the ...

I'm uploading the other half now. Yes, that's where she pointed to girl - and then you see something sticking out, right? I asked her... is that a penis sticking out and she said no that it was the "nub" the baby still has left. I'll be going in about 2 weeks for my anomaly scan.

I added more pictures. Yes, the first picture was the nub picture I pulled from the DVD - but I added the one the tech gave me also.I asked her about that boy parts I kept seeing and she said it looked like that because it was 1.swollen and 2.the nub was still protruding a lot because the baby was still so small. But she saw it live ---- I have the DVD on YouTube too if anyone wants to see i...

I added another nub shot that the tech gave me. Oh, it's not you - I keep watching the DVD thinking I see a penis. LOL I'm uploading it to YouTube now if anyone cares to see it, I'll post a link when it's uploaded.

I feel sick at my stomach. I know the tech kept reassuring me she was positive of her assesment and we discussed swollen girly bits. She even said "your baby still had a nub because it's still so early, but it's a girl nub for sure". She tried for 20 minutes to get a 3 line shot but the baby's position made it impossible and a few times it had it's feet crossed right in front of the go...

it's a GIRL!
HOLY SH*T! It's a GIRL!!!!!!
LOL
I'm in shock. The whole time I was thinking "it's looks so masculine" and then the tech says... It's a GIRL! 99.9% girl. She said she didn't say 100% because baby was breech, with her back towards us. So she couldn't get a 3 line picture.. But I got a DVD so I'll go through it and see if I can find a good shot. Between the legs we saw labia...
