as long as she is having enough wet and dirty diapers, and is gaining weight, then you are producing enough. you can't tell how much she's getting by what you can pump, as a baby can stimulate much more milk than the pump can, so she is likely getting much more than you are actually pumping.
taking fenugreek and blessed thistle will help with your supply, but they may not be ne...

for persistent/recurrent blocked ducts, Dr. Jack Newman recommends taking Lecithin, 1200mg 3 or 4 times a day. I've had blocked ducts with both kids, and the lecithin has done the trick for me. with DS, none of the other methods of getting rid of them worked until I started taking lecithin.

Jacqueline Elyse was born Tuesday July 29, 9:10 am; 7 lb 5 oz, 19.5 inches long.
Birth story is below the pics.
A few pics (there's a pic of them taking her out of my belly, but I put it at the end of my birth story in case some are squeamish and don't want to see. It's an amazing pic though, and no gore showing, so worth a look)

I don't believe there's any need to prepare your nipples. Proper latch is the key. if there is nipple trauma however, I swear by Jack Newman's All purpose nipple ointment. I had major problems last time round which resulted in cracked nipples. lanolin cream didn't help at all, but as soon as I got the APNO, it was 100X better by the next day. this time, I already ...

I didn't find the microscope helpful for me at all. for me, OPK's were more reliable. I just found that I either never got ferning when I got +ve opk, or I got ferning at other odd times of my cycle. (and my opk's were consistent with my temps)

I wouldn't bother for a chemical pregnancy. My OB didn't even consider that a pregnancy when he took my history at my first prenatal visit this time round. starting bleeding at 17dpo is only a few days after AF is due, and there wouldn't actually be any "tissue' to speak of other than menstrual flow, and a fertilized egg.

have you been doing anything differently this cycle that might affect your CM or your O date?

doesn't look like you've O'd yet to me. I think you're just going to have to wait it out. i'd never heard that about grapefruit juice. have you stopped drinking it now?

you're getting the shot right in the pimple, right? (I've had that before). If so, you would be getting a very small amount of cortisone, and I would doubt that any significant amount would get to the baby. they use cortisone for other things during pregnancy, and the doses would be higher, so if both your derm and your OB said it's ok, then I'd go for it.

first, what are you having? girl
Then, did you do a cut off? no, bd through O
What diet did you follow? no specific diet, but I always eat high in dairy, low in salt, which favors girls
Were you taking any supplements? cranberry, vitex, calcium, magnesium, (plus omega 3, vitamin d, folic acid)
Does a certain gender "run in your family"? not really

no, it's not. a lot of doctors consider a urine pg test enough. I didn't get a beta done with this pregnancy, too lazy and didn't want to bother with the poke.

I'd say it's doubtful at 10 weeks - the baby is only on average a 1/10 of an oz.
with this pregnancy, I felt first movements around 15 weeks.

My understanding is that folic acid is important in preventing neural tube birth defects (spina bifida) and it is very important to take it before conceiving to get this benefit.
[/quote]
yes, because the neural tube closes around the 3rd or 4th week after conception, so you need to make sure ...
