It sure seems like she feels a lot better. She has been so happy today and hardly fussy at all. She is a completely different baby today it seems. I hope this continues!

I, personally, would spend a little more money and get professional pics done. I would ask around and look at different photographers portfolios in your area and get pricing and then choose. You can probably find a really reasonable one, maybe even a beginner that takes great pics! They will be cheaper.
Have you looked on craigslist? I know a few people who found photographers through that ...

I have thought about getting a thing that is made for elevating the mattress but I have some things around the house I could try.
We didn't get great sleep last night, but a little better. I just hope each night continues to get better and better. She loves the nutramigen (sp) she only ate one ounce each feeding of the similac sensitive rs and she is gulping down 4 oz of this stuff!!

Again thank you all! I took Adalyn to the doctor not too long ago today and they prescribed her zantac and nutrigamen (sp). I am beyond excited to start both. Somethings gotta give!
I do swaddle Addy during the night and she has been sleeping in her room for 2 weeks now.
I will update you all in a few days and let you know how things are going.
Thanks again! I sure hope I get some slee...

I appreciate everybody chiming in. To answer a few questions.....I feel that 6 weeks is definitely a time where there should be some kind of a sleep routine. All of my friends babies had one by this age and so did my son, waking every 4 to 5 hours and by 4 months he was sleeping 10 hours straight. He did not have these issues that Adalyn has though and I'm aware that every baby is different, but h...

[:'(] I'm in tears right now as I type. I feel so defeated, frustrated, irritated, and tired. Adalyn's sleep issues went from bad to worse. over the past few days she will go to sleep for about 2 to 3 hours and then be up every hour after that sometimes multiple times an hour. She wants to suck on something I guess. We are quitting the paci cold turkey today and I'm scared to death about that.

I just read your blog, she DOES look like Hayden!!! :) So adorbale...both of them! How is the cloth diapering going? Someone on facebook was telling me she started using wool covers at night and her baby sleeps amazing now. I can get links if you want. I don't know about the formula question because I tried giving Ava a bottle of formula ...

I don't know anyone who's used it, only the alimentum (sp?) with reflux. The milk protein in the alimentum is broken down so small it's almost predigested. Wonder why they didn't suggest that and zantac? Why keep her suffering? The zantac also takes a least a week to build up in the system before you will see a difference.
Don't be a afraid t...

Thanks! I have to excercise, if I don't I feel frumpy, but that's me! I do it while my son is napping and while my daughter is either sleeping or right after she eats when she's usually the happiest.

As promised, I said I was going to keep my progress updated here.
These pictures and the weigh in was from this morning, I am exactly 6 weeks pp today.
I still would like to lose another 5 to 10 pounds and I have toning up to do. I am 5'3.5" and 115 is an average weight for that height. Also I was between 106 and 108 before I got pregnant so I'm trying to keep some weight on.
