WOW! I cant imagine being dialated to 8cm and not really feeling anything!
You all made some good points and I will definately ask her about just breaking my water if she plans to admit me. My only fear is that I wont start labor or progress any further and end up having a csection....after my first csection I am soooooooooo scared of them.

I saw my doc yesterday. She says I am 4.5cm (extremely stretchy) dialated and 80% effaced. She doesn't think I will make it to my next appoint next week but says IF I do she suspects I will be 5.5cm Dialated since I seem to dialate 1cm a week. At that point she might admit me out of fear I wont make it to the hospital in time lol I am hoping that was a joke on her part! They cant/wont induce me be...

I am no where near emotionally ready! I still have to pack our hospital bag and buy a few small items. I start to get in a little denial when I get this close haha, it just seems so surreal!

Hello, my name is Stacy, I am the mother of 2 boys(Jaden is 6 and Jonah just turned 2) with another baby boy on the way!! We are naming him Liam Jack (in honor of his great-grandfather). Liam is due October 19th but I have this weird feeling he will make his arrival on October 5th, I have no idea why. It's just a weird feeling. I am currently 3cm dialated and 70% effaced.
