I'm like this too. I'm sure my DH won't do it because he is a bigger baby than me when it comes to needles so im on my own yikes. I have no idea how I'm going to manage.

I talked to the embryologist at the clinic I am thinking about cycling at. She is wonderful. I asked about assisted hatching and she said she always does it. The only thing I worry about is the freezing. I don't know what to do yet. It seems that people really like the fresh transfers but she was pretty convincing that frozen gets the same results.

The embryologist told me that for the day 5 biopsy that have to do frozen transfer because the lab doesn't get back the results in time. It sounds like I should probably use the other clinic since they do both 3 and 5 day with a fresh transfer. Bows, did you end up transfering that normal girl? Thanks for the info on AH My Kids.

Oh my goodness I just started a thread about this. I am wondering the same things about day 3 vs. day 5. I see the pros to day 5 and self correction but if they aren't all going to make it to day 5 or if you have to do a frozen transfer instead is the % of embies that will self correct higher then the % you will loose doing it? I'm at a loss to which is better. I have seen so many BFP's on this si...

I have two clinics to choose from, one does 5 day with frozen transfer and the other does 3 day with fresh. The one that does 5 day says they have 75% success rates but recently switched from 3 day to 5 day because of the self correcting factor. Their current rates are now 60% but they have only been doing the 5 day since Jan so they expect sucess rates to increase. The other clinic won't tell me ...

I can't believe your clinic. That is just horrible. I agree with the girls. I would have my lawyer ready. That is unacceptable.

Girl, it can be pretty accurate at 15 or 16 weeks. I had my last one at 15 weeks 3 days and they were certain he was all boy. They do like 16 weeks better but this pic is all girl.
