Re: To: Moms of 3 or more children...

Lol Thank you everyone who is telling me their stories here. I recently moved out of state and am even more nervous now that my labor will go quickly because I am now 4 hours away from my support team. I just hope things work out.

Re: Anyone doing this yet?

OH and It stared working the first week. When i was checked at 34 weeks I wasn't softened, dilated, or effacedat all. Then at 36 weeks I was 3cm and my midwife said my cervix was like "butter" and I was about 70% effaced. She said that it was helping a lot and to keep on doing the epo and tea. I went into labor and drank the tea and was calm and the pain was not near as bad as my previous labor. I...

Re: Anyone doing this yet?

Well, the evening primrose oil is a capsule with oil in it. At 34 weeks it is safe to start taking 2 500 mgs or 1 1000 mg pill orally 1 time a day. Then at 36 weeks you can start taking up to 2000-5000mg orally and if you choose to can start inserting 1 1000 mg capsule vaginally at night before bed. At 38 weeks you can start inserting more and taking more orally. It is recommended to wear a p...

Re: Hows everyone doin??

Hey! Glad things are going well for you!! I will be 34 weeks tomorrow. My family and I just moved to a new state a few weeks ago and I had my first midwife appointment here yesterday. It lasted almost 4 hours with two cranky kids... not that fun. They scheduled me for an ultrasound because my son is in a bad position and they want to make sure he's doing okay. From my other scans he is growing ver...

Anyone doing this yet?

So, with my last pregnancy I took Evening Primrose Oil and started drinking Red Raspberry Leaf Tea at around 34 ish weeks. I took the evening primrose oil to help soften my cervix because during my first labor I wouldn't dilate. The red raspberry leaf tea is used to help tone and strengthen your uterin muscles for labor and helps with pain during labor. It worked wonders for me. Is anyone going to...

Re: The final countdown ;)

YAY! This is going so fast!! I'm 29 weeks right now :)!! So far I feel exhausted, sore/achy, grumpy... kind of like an 80 year old woman with a huge belly! We've gotten some shopping done but will definitly need to do more clothing wise for our little guy. We just found out today that we are going to be moving to another state in 2 weeks!! I'm super excited about this, but, this also means I will ...

Re: MIGRAINES! ugh...

Thank you for all of the responses. I had a migraine that lasted for 15 1/2 weeks! STRAIGHT! I had enough. I tried everything I could think of along with many suggestions from other people. I was becoming severely depressed about it. I couldn't stand it anymore. I had 2 children to take care of on my own (my husband drives semi and is gone 5-6 days a week) and I could barely move. It was so hard I...

Re: 2nd labor ALWAYS faster than 1st?

No problem :) Yes they allowed my 2 year old in the labor room. I had the epidural before I let her into the room. Then she watched me like a hawk for about an hour until she fell asleep in the chair next to me (it was the middle of the night). She was very worried about mommy with all the tubes and wires. My husband moved her to the couch in the room and she stayed there sleeping while I gav...

To: Moms of 3 or more children...

How long were your labors?? I am just curious if each went faster and easier.... My first was 32 hours total, my second was 5 hours total. I'm actually nervous that my 3rd labor will go so fast that I wont have anyone to help me. My husband drives otr (new career) so he may be half way across the country when I go into labor. My mom is about a half an hour away, and all other family are more than ...

Re: 2nd labor ALWAYS faster than 1st?

Well my first labor was difficult to say the least. I had terrible back labor. It last 32 hours from start to finish. For 27 of those hours I was having STRONG contractions every 2 minutes lasting for about 60 seconds each! But, I would not dialate!!!!! Drove me crazy! I stayed at 3 centimeters for all of those 27 hours. No epidural either! I was going crazy. Honestly, I am suprised my neighb...

Re: Been quiet

Hey Girls! Sorry it took me so long to get back. We have been super busy. Both my daughters have been sick :( and I was as well with a sinus infection and bronchitis! My husband is home from driving otr finally. So we have been spending some real quality time together :). He leaves again tomorrow though. Not sure about the baby shower theme. I really want my sons theme to be more of li...

Hey ladies! So it has been very quiet in the January club. What has everyone been up to? Anyone enjoying the shopping for their new lil guy or gal? Anyone new find out the gender of their little one? Is anyone still experiencing morning sickness? Any names picked out?? Baby showers? so on..   One good thing for me is my migraines have practically vanished finally!! I've gone out and gotten ...

Re: whos feeling movement?

Was wonderin' something. I have been feeling my lil man kicking for some time now. But, I have noticed that it is not very regular.. and somedays I don't feel him very much at all. I am 21 weeks right now. When should I be feeling regular kicks throughout the day and evening? Is it normal that I don't feel him kick often? I have a posterior placenta (it's in the back) so I thought I would fee...

Re: New video. Fraternal twins.

I am not a tech but I think I saw one boy and one girl. I think you have one of each. The one on the right looks like a girl and the one on the left looks like a boy.

Re: Baby due in a week and I'm still stuck!

Thank you so much. My husband and I were thinking of the name Nicholas for our son. But, I came up with Niccoli. I had heard of it before but it is really not a common name.. at least not where I am from. I never met anyone with that name. No one I know knows anyone else with the name Niccoli either. We fell inlove with it. His middle name will be Alexander. My maiden name is Alexander so we decid...
